closets closets closets. - if you’ve watched modern family with any regularity you know jay built a business around closets. maybe a bit of a dreamer but probably more of a realist. my closet admittedly is not the most practical of things - my dad would not approve of choosing fashion over realist function for sure. . .
but working with and on the little closer project is was reminded of my favorite episode - punkin chunkin. - watch it. - you probably won’t cry like i do every time but the ending voice over gets me every time. . .
there are dreamers and there are realists in this world. you'd think the dreamers would find the dreamers and the realists would find the realists, but more often than not, the opposite is true.

you see, the dreamers need the realists to keep them from soaring too close to the sun. and the realists... well, without the dreamers, they might not ever get off the ground.

why are details the hardest thing for me to handle in everyday life but my work thrives on them . . . i didn’t write this but i think it’s true -

artists are forgetful
but they remember everything.
they forget appointments and anniversaries- but remember how you smell, what you wore on your first date , they remember every story you’ve ever told them - like ever. but forget what you’ve just said. they don’t remember to water the plants or take out the trash - but they do t forget how to make you laugh. artist are forgetful because they are busy noticing the important things.
