Dream Weavers of Matthews meets the fourth Tuesday evening of every month from 6-9 pm at the McDowell Arts Center, 123 McDowell Street, Matthews, NC. Our guild is affiliated with the NC Basketmaker's Assocation. About Our Members:

Here are some of the Baskets of Love our members made for the Matthews Free Medical Clinic. The baskets will be given to patients who are working hard but donât have much for Christmas. The best part? The gifts will be a surprise for the recipient!

Guild members have been busy making our Baskets of Love. We partner with the Matthews Free Medical Clinic to adopt families for Christmas. Members fill their baskets with presents to share with the families. We love giving back to our community!

We had a full house at last nightâs guild meeting! Camille led a class on a Nantucket style vase with black staves. It was a very popular project!
Sometimes we just canât wait until the next guild meeting to get together! Dream Weaver Carolyn Kemp hosted a birch bark basket necklace class attended by Ginny, Pat, and Camille. Nice work, ladies!!

Trick or treat? We think this clever witchâs hat is definitely a treat! Dream Weaver, Dona, made the hat using a wire frame from Dollar Tree. It sure is fun!
At last nightâs guild meeting, Susan taught us how to chase weave around wine bottles to make an olive oil dispenser. We especially liked watching the spiral emerge and travel up the bottle!

Are you ready for Spooky Season? Dream Weaver Diane is! Diane saw a large woven Dracula at NCBA, came home, and made this tabletop version from memory. She even hand painted the face!
We worked on our Baskets of Love tonight! Baskets of Love are filled with gifts and donated to adopted families at the Matthews Free Medical Clinic. Our members looks forward to this project every year!

It was a smaller group than usual but we still had a great time weaving together tonight! Several members finished their trivets while other members brought their own projects. Thanks for teaching our class, Stephanie!

The Dream Weavers had a Saturday morning Weave-In today. Members brought a variety of projects and enjoyed spending time together. It was so much fun that we think weâll try it again in the Fall!
Guild member Bonnie brought these pine needle baskets for show and tell at a recent guild meeting. The different shapes and sizes are so interesting!
Dream Weaver Dona enjoys weaving with paper. She brought a few samples to a recent meeting; some she made and others she purchased. The variety of bright colors are so nice!

Guild member Nancy D helped the Dream Weavers finish our Triple Twine Twist baskets we started last month, a basket Nancy designed! The basket features a lovely triple twined pattern just below the rim. We also celebrated two new members, Karen and Terry!
