It was good to be together this morning in Sunday School!

Tonight Pastor Bob spoke from II Timothy 3:16 - “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.”
We enjoyed some games and free time, welcomed two new YG members, celebrated our graduating seniors, and finished out the night with some 🍨

“That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death.”

On Wednesday Rob Daulton spoke to our teens about “knowing God” from Philippians 3:10. The way that you get to know someone is by spending time with them. In the same way, we get to know God better by spending time in His Word. Thank you, Mr. Daulton for investing in our teens! We are blessed to have a church with many qualified men who are willing to challenge us from God’s Word.

And just like that night 4 of VBS Jungle Adventure is complete!

The Gospel was declared, the children had a wonderful time, and “Evil Ernie” was finally captured! Did we mention there was also a tiger spotted during “Fun time?” 🐅

We are thankful for all the families who attended this week and helped to make it so special. A HUGE thank you to all of the VBS volunteers, workers, and decorators - without you this wouldn’t have been possible!

Yes - the children will have fun, sing songs, and earn candy, but the most important thing is that they are learning about Jesus and His love for them. What a blessing to know that “God’s Word will not return void (Isaiah 55:11).” May the Lord change little (and big) hearts for His glory!

Day 1 of VBS “Jungle Adventure” was a success! The children learned about Jesus, played tons of special games, enjoyed a snack, and got even more candy!

The teens worked hard and did a fantastic job preparing the rooms for our Jungle Adventure VBS! Thank you to the group that came out! We look forward to a wild adventure together next week with the children's program. Hope to see you there. You won't want to miss it.

Tonight in Youth Group we enjoyed some special games (who doesn’t like dodgeball!?) and were challenged from the Bible by Dr. Parker. We were reminded of the dangers of worldliness from James 4, and were challenged that if we “Draw nigh to God, He will draw nigh” to us.

We had a great time ice skating and playing broom ball this afternoon!⛸️🧹

This evening we had several kids in our Olympians program achieve the next level for verse memorization.

In youth group we had the chance to bag 100 lunches with gospel tracts for some folks who are homeless in uptown Charlotte.

We’re thankful for these opportunities!

Join us this Sunday evening, December 17th at 6:00PM for a Noel Christmas Cantata. We are so grateful for our new Music Director, Stephen Schmitz, his wife Caroline and the tremendous job they are doing at BBC with our music ministry.

This Wednesday evening (12/13) we have a special Christmas youth group service. We’ll be singing some Christmas hymns, hearing a sermon on Advent, and discussing the message in small groups.

We had a blast together tonight at our Hawaiian Christmas Party!🌴🌺🎄

What better way to get into the Christmas spirit than by singing Christmas carols and eating Christmas cookies! Invite family, friends and neighbors! Dress warm, and come ready for fun, fellowship and refreshments!

O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever (Psalm 107:1).

We had a special evening of FASCAR last night in Olympians! 🚗

We just dropped off 25 Christmas shoeboxes packed by our Olympians kids. We’re praying that these would greatly impact children with the good news of Jesus Christ and the salvation He offers.

We had another exciting evening tonight in our Olympians program! A few of the children were able to achieve their bronze level for Bible memory and all the kids were able to pack 25 shoeboxes with gifts for children around the world to share with them the good news of the gospel.

We had a great time last Saturday at our annual teen corn maze activity. 🌽

We finished the evening with apple cider and s’mores bars, singing, testimonies, and a message from God’s Word.

This evening in our youth ministry we have the opportunity to focus on worship through singing, Scripture reading, and closing with a message from God’s word.

Tonight we studied the name El Elyon: God Most High and what that means for our lives. We also got new hoodies and covered some people in shaving cream and pretzels!
