What's going on everyone. It's another beautiful day in Indy and today we're at Mashcraft Brewing Co in Fishers, IN. It's cold, it's windy, Autumn is here, and it is indeed another great day for a run.

Happy Labor Day Weekend everyone.
Beautiful low humidity morning. Decided to go for a quick out and back run.
This route was basically rolling hills. The way to the park was really nice, cool, and breezy and the sun was still pretty low. On the way back, on the other hand, the sun was up, and I could feel the heat.
I also started too fast again 🤣

I also decided to bring my action cam with me today to try out a new camera angle. So that'll probably be my next YouTube upload.

Last Friday was pretty busy, and I'm now just getting to posting this.

Was looking for a new place to run, and I came across the Pennsy Trail in Greenfield, Indiana. The trail is actually pretty long, and similar to the Nickel Plate trail and the Monon, it extends from Hancock County into Marion County. I had planned Friday to be a long run day, so I decided to start my run at the Trailhead located on CR S 150 W and run eastward until I made it to Downtown Greenfield.

Despite the Sun trying to zap the life from me, I really enjoyed this run. The Trail was pretty scenic, there were water stations and seating along the route, and the other people on the trail were pretty friendly. Also, there was a portahohn at the Trail head, and it was probably the 2nd cleanest one I've ever used.

Apparently, Kakuda Japan is Greenfield's Sister city, and seeing the Japanese influence along the route was very cool, and it really kept me engaged in the trail.
Also, Downtown Greenfield is pretty nice. I think there is a distillery, beer garden, and amphitheater, and of course, lots of art pieces. Will definitely be making another trip there, both to run the rest of the trail and to just explore Downtown Greenfield more.

The fam and I met up with some friends today at the Main Stage Amp at the Nickel Plate District in Fishers for what I think is called the Fishers Summer Concert Series.
I'm told that during the Summer at 7 pm on Tuesday there is a 2 hour free show at the Amp and it's a different band every week. This week, the band was Second Wind from Cincinnati, Ohio.
I've ran the Nickel Plate Trail a few times now, and I am happy that I finally got to hang out there. May go back next week and also take more pictures.

Had a show with my band this evening, a little SW of Fountain Square. This place really reminded me of my hometown and my time with my 2nd band, "S.N.A.P.M" & "Supa Groop". I think that's how we spelled it lol.
A lot of mixed feelings, honestly, but I still had a great time nevertheless. It was a little weird though, being the only rock band (act) at what was essentially a hiphop show, which I thoroughly enjoyed, but I've naturally stood out my entire life, so no point in trying to stop now.

This place was pretty cool, though, and very nostalgic for me. Yes, sometimes I do get homesick, but here in Indiana, I'm happier than I've ever been and it's cool to see some of the things that I grow up with right here in the Hoosier State.

Also, check this place out and support your local artists, obviously. I think the music I chose for this post is fitting.

So I actually got this certificate a few weeks ago, but I didn't want to show it until it was framed. That's what makes it official, you see lol.

Very excited, but now I have to rearrange my wall to make space for it and for future ones. Currently, the only thing keeping me from getting more more frequently is time and money.

My latest run with the Indiana Brewery Running Series.
This run was at Ash & Elm Cider Co.
This run was probably the worst thus far. 90+ degrees, high humidity, no coverage, and even though I know I did 3.1 miles, my watch only clocked 3.09 😑 😭 I could have PR'd.
Ironically, even though I feel miserable during the runs, according to my stats/data, this Run and the last one, at Centerpoint, were actually my BEST performing runs of all the race thus far. In other words, I've gotten faster and stronger. 😁🥳

Great run, great Cider. I will definitely be back to do a proper Cider review.

Also, this song perfectly describes my experience. I was basically on fire, both in performance and on my skin lol.

So apparently, I didn't realize that Wednesday, June 5 was Global Running Day, a day that celebrates the sport of running. I say this because while I didn't run on Wednesday, I did run 10K on Thursday. So better late than never lol. I hope you all are having a great week and have great plans this weekend.

So due to accidentally mislabeling in my files, I'm just now getting to my Chilly Water Brewing 5k fun run with the Indiana Brewery Running Series video.
So while I'm working on that, check out my running vlog that I did the Thursday before on the Monon Trail in Carmel, IN, where for the first time, outside of a race, I ran 3.5 consecutive miles doing run/jog intervals, instead of my usual jog/walk intervals.

I hope you enjoy my video as much as I enjoyed the run.

Went to Dublin a few weeks ago.
Yes, that Dublin.
Dublin, Ohio.

My daughter and I had a self-guided tour around Historic Dublin and Bridge Park.
We made a couple of stops and I had an Irish style beer at each one and of course we had to stop at the Historic Dublin Village Tavern. While it was super humid, it was a great weekend. Cheers and Sláinte 🍻

The Wayfinder is a semi-sweet cider and the Sunset is a Tart Cherry Cider made with Montmorency Cherries.
