Outreach Moments that Matter 7/21/24:
You've heard me mention time and time again that God's timing is always perfect, and that He answers prayers, right? Well, today was no exception. We had a remarkable encounter with two new friends – a daughter and mother with disabilities who were living in their car. Approaching them, we offered help and food, which the daughter gratefully accepted. While listening to their story, Rosalyn Thomas asked if we could pray for them, to which they agreed. During the prayer, the Holy Spirit stirred something within me, revealing a need we could address immediately. Emotions ran high as we swiftly organized temporary arrangements for them. The daughter was moved to tears, as were we. They followed us to a safe location, and the daughter expressed her gratitude, saying, "Who are you and where did you come from? We prayed for help, and then you showed up."
Later, as I checked my email, I received a message from the daughter expressing her gratitude: "Tonight, my mom is safe and resting with air conditioning. Thanks to you, she is able to rest and take her medication. The best thing you did for me was to help care for my mom, and you did. God bless all of you." This emotional experience coincides with the week of my mother's passing 13 years ago. It was overwhelming. It felt as though God had aligned it all in a way that brought healing not only to this mother and daughter but also to my own heart. Their gratitude and the timing of this encounter were profound reminders of the interconnectedness of our lives and the unseen threads that bind us together in compassion and love.
Reflecting on the day's events, I couldn't help but think about the countless others who might be in similar situations, waiting for a glimmer of hope. It reaffirmed my belief in the importance of being present and open to the needs of others, and how even small acts of kindness can have a ripple effect far beyond our immediate perceptions.
As I prepare for bed tonight, my thoughts are filled with a deep sense of gratitude. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve, for the people who joined me in this mission, and for the reminder of my own mother's spirit and love. It was a day that reinforced my faith in God’s timing and the power of prayer, showing me once again that we are never alone in our journeys.
With a renewed sense of purpose, I will continue seeking out those moments where I can be of service and to listen closely to the whispers of the Holy Spirit guiding me. For in those moments, we find not only the chance to help others but also to heal and grow ourselves.

To God be the glory! We’re excited to share that we recently received our first corporate grant for $750 from our local Walmart on Redbud in McKinney to help with Project Living Water in our community. This generous contribution will help in supplying clean water and hydration essentials to those experiencing temporary homelessness in the communities that we serve.
With the high summer temperatures, it's critical that those experiencing homelessness have access to water and hydration essentials. Our goal is to ensure that none of these individuals suffers from dehydration. Through our program, we hope to raise awareness about the importance of hydration and the challenges faced in accessing clean water.
We extend our gratitude to Walmart and all contributors. Stay tuned for updates on our progress. Thank you for being a part of this journey. Cassundra Hunt-Faulkner Ina McGhee

Any time you make a choice to sow a seed, you will reap a harvest. The nature of that harvest depends entirely on the type of seed you plant. If you sow seeds of kindness, you will cultivate a garden of goodwill and compassion. Conversely, if you plant seeds of negativity, the resulting crop will be one of discord and resentment. Every action, no matter how small, contributes to the landscape of your life. Therefore, it is essential to be mindful of the seeds you choose to sow, for they will shape your future in ways both seen and unseen. Remember, a bountiful harvest begins with thoughtful planting.
Thank you to our supporters, helping us meet this GREAT NEED. We can use more volunteers, supplies and funds.

Outreach moment that matters from July 6:
We met a new friend today. 🙌🏾🙏🏾🩷
Upon receiving his bag, he says “All of this is for me?” Y’all my heart just melted and I couldn’t do anything but thank God for providing. The joy in his eyes was infectious, and it reminded me of the simple blessings in life that we often take for granted. As he clutched the bag tightly, a smile spread across his face, and I felt a renewed sense of purpose. The small act of kindness and compassion not only made his day, but also filled my heart with gratitude and hope. Moments like these make all the effort worthwhile and strengthen my belief in the power of giving.

It’s frustrating when organizations designed to help families won’t make an exception to help in an emergency situation. This family of 5 has NO FOOD and they can’t wait until next week.
So, I message my beautiful big-hearted friend Christina Scott Wade with Lovepacs and she’s doing a porch drop this evening all the way to McKinney.
One thing that I love about Lovepacs is that they will make sure families have food even if it’s after hours or in the middle of the night on the weekend. They really do help families. 💖💖
Hello Boba in Allen and McKinney are graciously allowing us to use their stores as drop off locations.
All donations will result in 15% off drink purchase.
130 bottles of water and 65 HOT and shelf stable meals served this past weekend.
We could use your help. A $25 donation goes along way but we would be grateful for any amount.

Hey Friends,
With the rising temperatures, it's crucial to acknowledge the vital role hydration plays in maintaining our health and well-being. While many of us have ready access to water, our Friends in Transition (those without shelter) often face challenges in finding clean and safe drinking water. This can lead to significant health issues, particularly in the hot summer season.
Join us in supporting them. Please consider contributing to Project Living Water by making a donation today. No amount is too big or too small.

Father you alone get ALL of the glory, honor and praise. We THANK YOU for the neighbor who witnessed the deeds happening Sunday afternoon and wanted to know more about what was happening. You sent her right over to us with a love offering. We THANK YOU for her kindness. She didn’t have to do it and we’re grateful for allowing us and her to be at that very place at that divine moment. You know who she is and we ask you to bless her abundantly. In the name of Jesus. 🙌🏾🙏🏾

Outreach Moments:
A couple of Sundays ago, we were approached by the owner of a local convenient store as we were feeding one of our friends. He was extremely rude and told us never to come there because our friend is ruining business for him. He went on to say a few more nasty things. So we have not been back to that location. If we see our friend there we will have him to meet us off of that property so that he still gets a meal. I don’t know why people have to be nasty. 🤷🏾♀️
Last Saturday as we were driving down the road, we noticed a bike that had a carrier which contained a suitcase, clothing and other items. We knew it was one of our friends. Upon enter the business, I asked the gentleman behind the counter if he knew whose items those were and where they were. He let me know the person had left but was coming back. I introduced myself and shared what we do. He said I could leave it and he’d make sure the friend got the meal. He told me that anytime I want to bring food, he’d make sure that any of our friends that come in would get it. He said he likes to treat people how he’d want to be treated. 🩷 Thank you Junior for your kind heart.
