BSA Troop 909, McKinney TX Troop 909 McKinney, TX is a high-adventure backpacking troop that goes on an outdoor weekend excursion once a month. We do not.
Many BSA troops use trailers to haul gear and camp near parking lots. Everything we use fits in a backpack and is carried in by the scout. We believe this builds character, resourcefullness and a sense of community among our select band of young men. Troop 909 is not for everyone.
