Standing for the LOST, the LEAST, + the VOICELESS
in North Texas!
Every day, young couples who walk through our doors are at the threshold of making the biggest decision of their lives. Will they choose LIFE for their child or will they be persuaded in a different direction?
So far this year, we have already served over 1,200 patients and over 300 men have accompanied them. It is our desire that every young man has the opportunity to meet with one of our Men of Hope mentors to discuss their fears and concerns.
We understand that becoming a father is not difficult. But being a father is! It is the first and most important decision of fathers: to make a conscientious choice to be a father. But we know that the decision to be a father is not just a delivery room decision. It is a daily decision and requires sacrifice.
We celebrate all the young dads who have made the brave choice to be present for their child and be a father. We celebrate our Men of Hope mentors who weekly sacrifice their time to pour into these young dads. Because of YOU, many men have chosen to be a father and have chosen ETERNAL LIFE in Christ!

Last week, we had our first ever Christmas party for families that have been touched by Hope Women’s Center. Former patients and their children gathered for pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus – although not every child enjoyed Santa’s beard! These precious families made crafts together and enjoyed some holiday treats. Smiles and laughter filled the Cuddle Bug Boutique.
A special thanks to members of the Hope team and various volunteers who made this event possible. You all HIT IT OUT OF THE PARK and went above and beyond in loving these families well! An extra special thank you to Pastor Ryan Ross from City Church in Melissa, along with his beautiful wife, Laurel, for delighting the children as Santa and Mrs. Claus!

As we often share, we regularly encounter women in desperate situations. Earlier this year, a mom with a young teenage daughter walked into our doors pregnant. The mom was angry with her daughter. She felt trapped and overwhelmed. She felt like they had every possible hurdle in their lives that was causing them to consider an abortion. They had housing that was not stable. Their car had been stolen. They did not have a way to make ends meet in their lives.
We stayed in close contact with them. Spent hours trying to find ways to support them.
Last week, we received this correspondence from the mom:
“Just wanted to thank you for helping me not give up on my daughter. When I found out she was pregnant, I wanted her to have an abortion. I was really just stuck on her having one. But I'm just so happy that y'all not only told me that was not a good thing to do, but also you showed me that with a little prayer and hard work anything is possible.
Everything still isn't perfect, but I love him so much that I don't see life without him. He is so perfect and perfect for this family. He lets me know that there is still love in my heart and not to be depressed and sad because when I look at him, he's smiling and just so innocent. Thank you so much for everything! I’m sending pictures so you can see why I love him so much!”

This team, as well as those who were not able to make our Christmas celebration, represents this verse weekly as they serve North Texas. They compassionately listen, passionately love, and medically care for all that comes through our doors. What an honor it is to serve together!
This year (so far) this team has served over 1,990 women and provided over 3,400 appointments. We want to give honor to whom honor is due!

*Cheryl brought her two teenage daughters into Hope for STI testing. It was at that appointment that her 15-year-old daughter would learn that she was pregnant.
It was only recently that Cheryl and her four children were homeless living in their car. She felt like abortion would be the only way through this unexpected news. While her daughter was being cared for by our team, Cheryl was also able to meet with an advocate to process some of her own concerns, fears, and obstacles.
Her advocate shared with her that Hope will walk alongside their family and help them as they navigate this unexpected journey. She was told of our weekly Engage Parenting classes where she and her daughter would be equipped to care for and love this baby, enjoy a warm meal, and have an opportunity to shop at our Cuddle Bug Boutique.
At the close of the appointment, they were invited to walk over to see where the parenting classes meet. As they passed the wall with all the leaves representing all of our different partners, Cheryl asked about what all the leaves meant. Her advocate explained that the leaves represent all of the people who are standing with her family. The advocate went on to say that God had stirred the hearts of His people to provide services for her daughter and so many others. Cheryl was moved to tears and she said, “For real?”
It was a beautiful moment orchestrated by God to give her a glimpse into the window of His unlimited resources, unconditional love, and never ending grace. By the time their appointment was over, this family was over the moon excited for this baby!
They left with unexpected JOY in knowing that they are LOVED, SUPPORTED, and NEVER ALONE in the journey.

We had a full house at our Engage Parenting Class as we CELEBRATED 9 participants who have completed our parenting curriculum. We wish you could have been here to see their smiles and expressions of joy as we celebrated these young moms and dads and their babies! With the help of folks from Crosspoint Church, Stonebriar Community Church, and many individuals, we provided a BIG BLOW OUT baby bash for those couples and single moms.
We’d also like to give a special shout-out to the WEEKLY TEAM OF VOLUNTEERS who make our Engage Parenting Classes possible. In fact, we’ve had a record 132 participants attend our parenting classes this year! We couldn’t do this without you!

Hope Women’s Center is hosting an Ultrasound Scanning Lab and we are looking for pregnant models between 6 - 24 weeks of pregnancy! This additional training is vital for our nurses to be the best they can be in service of our community! We are offering FREE limited obstetric ultrasounds on November 15-18.
FREE ULTRASOUND PICTURES will be provided + each participant will receive $40!
