Shout out to our Vega afternoon carpool staff for working out in the hot August sun and making sure all of our car riding students made it safely to their cars! Afternoon carpool finished 20 minutes faster that yesterday....that's a win! Have a great weekend everyone!

Thank you to the Vega PTA for hosting our Popsicles in the Park event for incoming kindergarten families this evening. It was so exciting to get to meet some of the newest All Stars! Thank you to the kindergarten teachers for being there to meet everyone!

Quick reminder that our Vega PTA is hosting the Kindergarten Popsicles event at McKissick Park from 6-7 PM tonight for any interested incoming kindergarten families. Thank you Vega PTA!

SPANISH VEGA ELEMENTARY

Huge thanks go out to our church partner Global Methodist! A group of volunteers from their church came out a few days ago to volunteer their time in the hot sun repainting our map of the US in the courtyard and our hopscotch boards on the playground. Thank you all so much for volunteering your time! The kids will be so excited!

"Meet the Teacher Night!” Your child's teacher will call to introduce themselves on the afternoon of August 2nd.

For your child to be on a class list, please make sure you have completed your required enrollment.

This is a great safety guide for children swimming in lakes and swimming pools. The color of the bathing suit can make it easier or more difficult to see children while they are swimming. This is a good reminder to always have adult supervision when children are swimming. (Thanks to Praire Lakes Healthcare System.)

Community Lifeline Center is offering a mobile food distribution for those in need on June 26, 2024 at the McKinney ISD Stadium. Cars should enter the north side of the visitor parking lot and exit the south side of the visitor parking lot on Collin McKinney Pkwy.

Supply list for the 2024-2025 school year. Prepackaged school supplies will not be available for purchase this year.

This morning we held our annual Senior Breakfast for all of the former Vega All Stars that are now graduating from high school. It was great to see such a big turnout this morning! We wish the best to all of these senior All Stars for reaching this big milestone! We know they will all go out and make us proud! 

Very, very important! We only get ONE chance to help our childrens’ brains develop properly. Keep those devices away! 🙅‍♀️ Instead, give them books, puzzles, coloring books, etc.
