For those who may not have visited Salem, Mass- this is the site where 19 accused witches were hung in 1692. This somber, unassuming site is next door to a duplex, across the street from an electrical plant and in sight of a Walgreens. No pomp and circumstance… barely a sign that really doesn’t explain what it is. To find this in Salem, you have to look for it and drive to it as it’s off the beaten path, in a more residential area… This, Proctor’s Ledge, is one of the many sites of significant injustice and intolerance that we have in our country (and others). The Salem witch hysteria was less about witches and more about fear, keeping one’s status in society at any cost (including human life), misogyny, discrimination, failure of the use of law and extraordinary injustice. This is a good time to reflect on this unbelievable event in American history.

ORCA AGATE - a very special stone… helps us to release self doubt and promotes inner peace and calmness. Brings a sense of wholeness, well-being and and emotional stability. This stone is representative of the earth oceans and the majestic Orca well; strongly linked to the water element because of it’s fluid energy. Found only in Madagascar but available at the Zen Den! We have these gorgeous Orca Agate flames, spheres and palm stones.

Raw Black Tourmaline Chunk Necklace - new at the Zen Den!! Black Tourmaline is an important and powerful stone as it shields and protects you from negative energy. It is also a very strong grounding stone. This necklace has about 20 pieces of tourmaline - all of which have been hand-strung. A versatile and fashionable piece with enormous metaphysical properties!
