Dr. Angela Cancado was born in Pitangui, MG and received her DMD and DDS in Itauna, MG and Bauru,SP Brazil respectively. Goldman, where she graduated with honors Magna Cum Laude and awarded the Merit Organization of Teachers of Oral Diagnosis. She worked in private practice as general dentist for more than eight years and also taught at Boston University Health Center, AEGD and PGOE Program. Dr. Angela is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor and a Group Practice Leader at Boston University G. Dental School of Medicine. Dr. Angela Cancado completed the Comprehensive Dental Sleep Medicine Mini-Residency at Tufts School of Dental Medicine in collaboration with the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain. Dr. Angela will be doing exams, giving information and recommendations on Snoring and Sleep Apnea to her patients, working in collaboration with her patients' Physicians, Sleep Doctors or Sleep Disorders Specialists, and providing Oral Appliance as a treatment alternative for Snoring and Sleep Apnea as well. She is fluent in Portuguese, English.
