This week, Tapestry residents enjoyed a virtual trip to India, where we explored it’s rich culture, fashion, cuisine, and top travel destinations. To end the week, our nurse Div invited her mother to share her musical and dance talents with us. In addition, residents got the chance to sample naan. Everyone had such a great time!

Today, our Tapestry residents enjoyed a wonderful end-of-summer family luau. We were treated to fantastic food and service from our dining team, lively music, and lots of happiness all around. Families wrapped up the day with games in the courtyard, including a fun round of co****le. Aloha!

SALMON at Medway’s Garden Club has more tomatoes than we know what to do with! We had a little fun today raffling our tomatoes and guessing their weights for winners. Then, we got to eat some of our delicious harvest. Garden Club is slowly becoming the Eating Club! 🤪

A huge welcome to Elaine Drawbridge, our new Fitness Director here at SALMON at Medway! We loved meeting you at our meet and greet today and are so happy to have you join our community!

Yesterday, we celebrated our friend Dolores’ birthday and enjoyed the occasion together. We also made some beautiful cards for our Community Outreach Program, sending them to Connections Physical Therapy - Medway as a thank you for their hard work.

Tapestry came together to celebrate our friend Bert's birthday with joy and laughter. We also spent the day crafting adorable bumble bees to brighten up our courtyard. There's always something fun buzzing around in Tapestry!

Humanitarians @ Medway starting their new project: paracord bracelets for the military. Today we started to “train the trainers”, who will now teach all 16 members next Monday and work toward our goal of 400 bracelets in August!

Our talented Tapestry residents are hard at work on their Fall decor. The owls on a branch they've created turned out amazing!

Tapestry had an incredibly vibrant week, filled with fantastic entertainment and much more. We take great joy in keeping our friends engaged and smiling. This week, our Community Outreach was for the Medway Village Food Pantry.

It’s official, our BARBARA PETERS ART GALLERY has had its first refresh with added art here at SALMON at Medway! Thank you to all the artists who contributed and have trusted your pieces in our care. Come and visit it on our 2nd floor!

Tapestry has had a busy week, and we've been loving all of our art programs. Recently, we created some adorable wooden boxes for treasures, and today we began working on our fall art projects. These pieces will be displayed in our art gallery, so be sure to take a look when you visit us!

Karen at it again, honoring National Ice Cream Sandwich Day by passing out ice cream sandwiches to all!

Last week, Tapestry residents worked hard in our Community Outreach Program to make cards for both staff and patients of Massachusetts Pediatric Oncology. It’s always a great feeling to give back to the community.

Another amazing Olympic day at SALMON at Medway! Perfect 90 degree day to play our water balloon challenge and rounded it off with some Pub Trivia and more! Stay tuned for our closing ceremony tomorrow where we’ll announce our Gold, Silver, and Bronze winners!

Tapestry had an eventful week filled with various activities. The events this week included arts and crafts programs, a dinner at The Pines, and special visitors. A particular favorite was Cooper, our therapy dog, who brought joy to everyone. It was heartwarming to see so many of our friends engaged and smiling. We even enjoyed some playful moments blowing bubbles in the courtyard.

What good sports we have here at SALMON at Medway! There certainly were some laughs while watching our amazing managers participate in some silly Olympic Games: ping pong shake & no hand Oreos! Congratulations to those who bet on the winning managers and won Olympic Tickets! What a blast! 🤣
