I wanted to share some candid photos from my recent visit to the Supreme Council of Brazil’s 195th Anniversay Commemoration.

Without a doubt, I can truly say that the ability to travel to foreign lands as a regular Scottish Rite Mason and be embraced in the spirit of Brotherhood is a hallmark to what Freemasonry is truly about.

Upon the invitation of Sovereign Grand Commander Jorge Lins, 33º, I attended the 195th Year Anniversary of the Supreme Council of Brazil and the Assembly of the Ibero-American Confederation of Supreme Councils, held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I was afforded the opportunity to address the Confederation of Supreme Councils, and given the approval by SGC Bazemore to bring greetings, not only on behalf of the SJ, but on behalf of the NJ, as well. To top it all off, I witnessed the conferral of the 33rd degree. Thank you to SGC Lins for the invitation.

Prince Hall Scottish Rite Masonry, the NJ, under the leadership of Dr. Melvin J. Bazemore and the SJ, with yours truly as its servant leader, continue to expand Prince Hall Scottish Rite Freemasonry's international presence. We are making our mark on Scottish Rite Masonry throughout the globe.

Together we will continue to move Scottish Rite Masonry onward and upward!

In my role as SGC of this esteemed fraternal organization, I am required to visit the numerous enclaves that make up our jurisdiction. One of the recent locations I visited was the Orient of the US and British Virgin Islands.

My visit was highlighted by a welcome by Deputy Vincent Sutherland, the Fraters and Loyal Ladies of this beautiful Orient. From the cascading blue sky and the crystal clear waters, the US&BVI has definitely made a mark on my memory.

From the Governor’s reception, to the Council of Deliberation and Grand Assembly, this Orient knows exactly what it’s doing.

Again, a fond thank you to all who welcomed me to our Southern most home in the Caribbean, I offer to you a sincere and appreciative thank you.
