What it’s all about...

Hey y’all! My name is Shelby Scott. In the beginning of 2019, I rescued my two dogs, Gypsy & Silas, from the streets, specifically Sharpe Ave. I’ve worked in the area for almost 3 years, and just about every day I see a new dog roaming around searching for food, water, shelter, etc. I have also witnessed dogs being dumped out of cars as they drive by. All of these dogs that I’ve seen have been the sweetest, most loving dogs that I’ve ever met. I don’t know how anyone could be so heartless to just abandon these precious animals in the cold of winter or the heat of summer. I can’t stand to see them roaming around, starving & scared. I don’t think twice about picking one up off the streets if they will allow me, but the main reason I created this page is to help find a warm, loving forever home for all of these sweet babies. I have been posting pictures and descriptions on my personal page, but I would like to be able to reach out to more people and Rescue Centers/Shelters in hopes of finding each animal a home where they are a perfect fit. I know it’s almost impossible to find a home for every dog right off the bat, so if you or someone you know is able to foster an animal until we are able to find their forever home, that would be very appreciated as well! I am no professional, I do not own a Rescue business, nor am I am trying to make money off of any of these animals. There are so many bad things happening in this world and in this city... if there is anything I can do to add love & happiness in our community, I’m going to do it.
