The student team consisted of Aedan Livesay, Kendle Williams, Brent Hesson and Jeremy Farmer. The Nucor coaching team was headed up by Victor Hinajosa, Edgar Villarreal, and Juan Molina.

TCAT Memphis settles in on their 2024 In-Service Week.
Mrs. Wendy Harris, Vice President of Student Services, delivered "Let's Explore Technical Careers" books to Knowledge Quest Early Childhood Academy today as part of the TCAT Memphis initiative to expose Technical Careers to youth in the Greater Memphis Communities. "Let's Explore Technical Careers" features Tommie and Tammie T-Cat as they explore a variety of exciting careers they may pursue when they grow up, from nursing to teaching, to welding, computer science, and more!
Fayette-Ware High School students embarked on an immersive tour today of our Bartlett Campus. They had the opportunity to explore our seven dynamic programs: Automotive, Electric Vehicle Production, Heavy Equipment, HVAC/R, Machine Tool, Mechatronics, and Welding. TCAT Memphis had the opportunity to participate in BonLin Middle School's Career Day today, igniting sparks of curiosity and ambition in young minds! Machine Tool Instructor Raushan Giordano, and Welding Instructor Christopher Leggett, showcased the limitless possibilities in these technical career fields. Alongside them, our dedicated students, Chloe Biggs, Aiden Bolling, Christian Gasior, and Zane Douglas, shared their firsthand experiences, offering invaluable insights into the world of manufacturing.
All TCAT-Memphis campuses will be open tomorrow. Faculty and staff, please plan to resume your normal work schedule. Students, please plan to resume your normal class schedule. Also, the MLGW boil water alert has been lifted. Please visit MLGW's website for further information.
The main campus will operate virtually tomorrow January 23rd for both day and night classes due to weather-related mechanical issues. The Aviation and Bartlett campuses will be open for normal operations with a 1 hour delayed opening for day classes. Evening classes at the Aviation and Bartlett campuses will operate on their regular schedule.
