Les is a physicist, award-winning science and science fiction author, and the Chief Technologist at NASA's George C. Marshall Space Flight Center. With a career dedicated to pushing the boundaries of science and inspiring future generations, Les brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm for the cosmos.

His science fiction works include Crisis at Proxima (Baen 2024), The Ross 248 Project (Baen 2023), and Pluto: The Dark World (coming from Tor 2025), among others.
