He took the time to listen to our concerns and dreams for a better - Big shout out to Tanja Mitchell for hosting the Uptown Block Party filled with folks who truly love their neighborhood (my hood). We are so elated to announce that we’re and will be collaborating with farm to hold our 2024 Seed 2 Market Garden Classes. The Patricia C. Howard campus is at the youth farm in Frayser on Dellwood Avenue.
The farm has been at the site in Frayser for over a year. Now, the new building will teach girls to grow healthy food. The solar-powered campus will consist of three buildings under one roof. Located at 1179 Dellwood Ave in Frayser.
Congratulations to Desirée Rivera, who serves on the board and the director of our HAB program for chickens. She just completed her BACKYARD CHICKEN CERTIFICATE from the Oklahoma State University with a 100/100. We so proud and the girls 🐔🐓 are too

Seed 2 Market is a flagship program that aims to foster healthy food entrepreneurship among backyard growers. Through workshops, training sessions, and mentorship programs, participants learn essential skills in cultivation, harvesting, packaging, and marketing of their produce. By empowering individuals to turn their passion for gardening into viable businesses, we aspire to uplift communities and promote economic sustainability.
Classes start Feb 1st through October 2024.
Class are held online via Zoom, Google Classroom and in person.
Class includes: a journal, starter plants, discounts to special workshops, special guest speakers and demonstrations.

She is also a Army veteran and giving back to the community is her superpower. Today & everyday, we honor her and thank her for all her hard work and service.
Meet Cinnamon, she stands still like a statue hoping you won’t see her. She’s ranks in the middle of the flock. Because her is so big, she jumps every time you touch her, because she can’t see you from above.
