We hope that all of our scholars have enjoyed a restful Spring Break! TOMORROW (3/18) marks the start to Quarter 4. We are excited to see everyone in the morning!

You are cordially invited to attend our Black History Month Program this Friday, February 23rd at 2pm! Scholars have prepared interactive presentations and performances for your viewing and learning pleasure. We are also excited to welcome various Divine 9 Organizations from LeMoyne Owen College to perform for our school community! We hope to see you there!

Attention 8th Grade Families: We are excited to host our high school placement workshop this Thursday, January 25th from 4:15-5pm. Join us to learn more about high school options, the MSCS Optional Schools application (which goes live next week), and receive other helpful resources and support. We hope to see you there!

Due to the ongoing winter weather and the conditions caused by the boil water advisory, Veritas will be closed Monday, January 22. We will continue to monitor the situation and communicate the status of Tuesday’s classes as soon as possible. In the meantime, please stay warm and aware of your health and safety. Due to the winter weather conditions, Veritas College Prep has cancelled classes for Friday, January 19. Stay safe, stay warm, and if you can, stay indoors. We hope to see you on Monday!

Out of abundance of caution for scholars and staff, Veritas College Prep will be closed both Tuesday, January 16 and Wednesday, January 17. Please stay warm and SAFE!

Attention Lion Family: Today is the day! We are excited to host our Winter Elective Showcase! Join us for presentations, reflections, and live demonstrations of varying projects from our Elective classes this semester! The event begins at 3pm and ends at dismissal!

Lion 🦁 Family: Join us next week Tuesday, December 19th for our Winter Showcase! Our Scholars and Elective partners have been hard at work designing innovative and reflective pieces from their learning in and outside of the classroom this semester. The program runs from 3 to 4 PM and refreshments will be served!

Attention Lion Family - This is just a friendly reminder that tomorrow we celebrate the end of the Quarter with a Fall Festival and a NOON DISMISSAL! Scholars will enjoy Fall Break next week and return to school on Monday, October 16th.

Congratulations to the scholars and staff of for earning a Level 5 TVAAS score for the second consecutive year! Level 5 indicates scholars demonstrated statistically significant academic growth during the year and is the highest designation awarded by the State of Tennessee. Great work VCP Family and now it’s time to go to work on the 🏆🏆🏆
