I had the opportunity to visit the USS Hornet with Rotary District 5150 Governor Steve Wright and other Rotarians before our District Foundation event day. It was my first time there, and I found it a really fun and interactive museum. You can explore the flight deck, the hangar bay, and the winding hallways below deck. The docents are friendly and informative, and there are many descriptive exhibits that highlight life on the aircraft carrier, the adventures of the USS Hornet, and the history of the Navy.
Don't miss out on this opportunity to attend the Rotary Foundation Day event on October 12 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. sign up here.
