Motherhood can cause debilitating fatigue, stress, worry, loneliness, body image issues, feelings of having no individual self identity, and the list goes on. I’ve experienced every single one of these & usually many of them at the same time and more than once. My mental & physical health has taken a toll with the amount I have been called on to give to these precious people. I have also truly found myself through being a mother. I have experienced love so strong that it is tangible. Holding your child(ren) for the first time is the closest to Heaven you can get while on this Earth (there’s a part of me that still has to mourn the thought of never experiencing that again). God has gifted me with these amazing little souls & with that comes great responsibility. It is my job to nurture them, love them, create a safe home environment for them, feed their bodies & minds with tools for entering the world, teach them life skills, teach them how to be a good human, help them establish good morals & values, develop self discipline, instill confidence, support them during their successes & failures, teach forgiveness, to be humble, help them develop their gifts & talents, help them to become hardworking contributors to society, teach them to stand firm in their beliefs & to be respectful of others, & be their protector of their childhood innocence. And this is just to name a few! I am SO FAR from perfect but I was called to be their mom and I do not take this calling lightly. My role as a mother will continue to evolve as my children get older & I will happily continue to make what the world views as “sacrifices” for them. You know the quote, “Hell hath no fury than a woman scorned”. Mine is, “Hell hath no fury than when you mess with my children”. 🤍

21 years since this horrible attack on our soil💔 My heart still mourns for all those who lost their lives. We must never forget!And I will never forget how united our country was on 9/12. We MUST become that people again…United We Stand🇺🇸❤️🤍💙
