Most of us are aware that there has been a recent increase in positive Covid-19 cases in Brevard County and throughout the state. We would like to encourage everyone to continue following CDC guidelines, including wearing a face covering while out in public, washing and sanitizing your hands, and practicing social distancing. We remain open for in-office and telehealth appointments, with safety measures in place. Please keep your scheduled appointments, and call us with any questions or concerns.

05/01/2020

As Florida begins to take the initial steps toward re-opening, we want to remind our patients to continue practicing social distancing and diligent hand washing protocols, as well as wearing a mask when out in public if possible. The risk for those in our community that are most vulnerable is still high. We continue to remain open to provide patient care through telehealth platforms as well as in the office. Please keep your appointments, and contact the office with any questions or concerns.

04/02/2020

With the stay at home order in effect for Florida until the end of April, we would like to remind our patients that visits to your doctor, pharmacy, lab, etc. ARE considered essential reasons to leave your home. We will continue to see patients in the office, as well as provide telehealth consults. If you have flu-like symptoms, have traveled recently, have come into contact with a known or suspected case of COVID-19, or prefer to not come into the office at this time, please let us know right away! No shows still affect patient care negatively, and fees may apply. Thank you!

We got very lucky and were spared the worst that Hurricane Dorian had to offer. Our neighbors in the Bahamas were not as lucky! We will be accepting donations of purified water, diapers/wipes, personal hygiene products, and more. Please bring what you would like to donate to our office, and we will transport to a designated drop off location. Thank you for your help!

We've been so busy seeing patients in the office that we managed to let slip by us this week! No worries, though, because we're sharing Medical Assistant Alyssa's favorite form of exercise, and it's a really unique one! Paddle board enthusiasts have always known about how the activity helps build better overall balance because it works your core and legs as part of a full body workout. Newbies will quickly learn how it also lowers stress levels and increases your always-important cardiovascular health. We love how this pic from funoncocoabeach.com showcases this great way to exercise, as well as one of the great views our community offers!
