Outdoor Classroom Grows Learning At William J Bryan Elementary School, fourth grader Sarah Tardieu likes to tell people all about the “toilet paper plant,” a fuzzy, flowering plant of the mint family that people used to use to “clean their bums,” as Sarah puts it.

Thanks to our partnership with Valley Bank, Miami Bayside Foundation, Florida International University - Biscayne Bay Campus, Miami Dade College, Easterseals South Florida, Achieve Miami, Housing Trust Group, Miami Senior High and Homestead Senior High School. Life is full of firsts, and for this group of high school students, today marked the beginning of their summer (paid) internship at Easterseals South Florida through The Education Fund's SmartPath program. 🎉

Our SmartPath interns at Easterseals of South Florida – Jesse , Erica , Xzavia , Inari, and Alexis – get hands-on experience in a supportive environment, exploring career paths and sharpening critical skills while having a blast.

Thanks to this dynamic partnership with organizations like Easterseals of South Florida, The Education Fund is not only empowering students but also helping to build inclusive and supportive communities in South Florida.
