Team Aidan 4 Ever

Thank you again to the Blood Bank staff checking in all our friends and family and putting in the great IVs. We had a total of 45 units donated and 5 of them were MAX red donors, who were able to donate more red blood cells. During the summer months, blood donation decreases, but the need for blood doesn’t. If you have time to donate, it only takes 15-20 minutes to save a life and help Special Olympics Hawaii. Use Code 3237 when making an appointment with the blood bank. Mahalo.

We have all 60 slots filled for the blood drive to celebrate Aidan’s 17th birthday and it will be our 3rd annual blood drive. And every blood donor will get a chocolate dipped Oreo with blue and yellow drizzle in honor of Aidan’s favorite team, the Warriors. Thank you for making these special treats.

In memory of Aidan’s birthday, we are holding a blood drive this Sunday at the Waikele Outlet blood bank. This is even more special as with every blood donation, a donation will be made to Special Olympics Hawaii, giving those with disabilities a chance to compete in various sports. We have 52 of 60 slots filled…trying to get all 60 slots filled. Donating blood is fast, safe, and easy and it can provide a second chance to those in critical conditions.

To celebrate Aidan’s 17th birthday, we are holding our 3rd annual blood drive. While doing chemo, he needed blood transfusions and so there is no better way to celebrate his birthday than by giving the gift of life to others. Sign up with the QR code or DM us to sign up. Now that we have had a day to recover from this whirlwind of a weekend, we wanted to thank Nate and Linda from . We could have done any fundraiser to raise money for pediatric cancer research, but we had a vision and a dream of doing a basketball tournament because Aidan loved the game of basketball. It was a frustrating 2 year process of people telling us no, saying to call back, having our requests lost….until Nate and Linda finally said they would help us and loved our cause. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. This basketball tournament in Aidan’s honor brought awareness to pediatric cancer. It was a success in raising so much funds for such needed research. Can’t wait to share how much we raised.
