In a groundbreaking new study, Medical College of Wisconsin scientists unveiled a promising path to treating pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), identifying four distinct subtypes based on their tumor microenvironment (TME) immune composition.
PDAC has long been notorious for its aggressive nature and genetic complexity, making it difficult for doctors to predict how patients will respond to treatment. These novel findings, published in Gastroenterology, may open the door to the development of cutting-edge strategies.
