What a day! Took advantage of some down time to take the dogs to the dog park, head to the lakefront via bike (18 miler) and catch an impromptu Session with while on the ride. Along the way I bumped into many old friends. And it’s not even 2pm 😆

Just wanted to take a second to say thanks to everyone who's trusted me to help with their real estate needs this summer as well as throughout my 8+ year career (crazy how time flies!).

This past July has presented some very new and unique challenges that I have no choice but to take head-on. I’ve been feeling anecdotally that the housing market is beginning to shift from a definite sellers market to a more balanced and neutral market. This article kind of confirms those thoughts. While this might not be great news for sellers, it’s great for buyers. I think most real estate professionals would agree that more balance is needed and it seems we may be on our way to that.

Just finishing up a much needed family getaway to Costa Rica. We fully immersed ourselves in all the things. We stayed at Arenal and explored the volcano region, headed to , and finished up in Jaco. It rained every day but it doesn’t feel so bad when it’s 90 degrees outside.

Even in spite of shotty internet I managed to get an offer accepted for a seller (while they were in Asia) and a buyer in Milwaukee (thanks to some help from )

2023 was a very different year for real estate. Lots of ups and downs throughout. I think I didn't have any closings for 2 months straight, but the rest of the year made up for it. Being a realtor, you need to plan for ups and downs. It takes a steady hand 😁 . I couldn't be happier with the career choice I made to become a realtor 7 years ago (can't believe it's already been that long!).

Today I had the honor of bumping into Hall of Famer, and inventor of the famed Lambeau Leap, Leroy Butler. He was the kindest and most down to earth athlete I’ve ever met. Upon leaving the store he slapped my shoulder and said “nice meeting you, brother”. What a cool dude!

This ones for the data nerds out there. Seems to be some more reason for optimism in regards to the housing market in 2024. It appears that interest rates will (hopefully) continue to trickle downward and listings are on the uptick. Interesting fact in this data: Milwaukee is #2 in year over year pending sales with an 8.4% increase, just .1% behind Dallas. That is good news for people buying and selling in SE Wisconsin. Don't sit on the sidelines in 2024 if your goal is buying or selling a home or condo!
