SEASON ANNOUNCEMENT!

We will be producing THREE plays this season for the first time in Constructivists history. We are also thrilled to be BACK at the Broadway Theatre Center for our entire season!

IN THE CANYON is a new American saga by Calamity West spanning from 2007 to 2067. In an exploration of the present attack on Roe v. Wade, IN THE CANYON chronicles a story of survival, and imagines the decline of a broken society.

A VERY DEADLY CONSTRUCTIVISTS HOLIDAY is back! This devised show from the mind of Jaimelyn Gray features real news stories of humans behaving badly (in a seven deadly sins kind of way). All the holiday songs you know and love blended with lyrics that will make Grandma clutch her pearls. Saw it last season? Come back to see what new sinful stories we have in store. 😈

THE BEAUTY QUEEN OF LEENANE by Martin McDonagh tells the darkly comic tale of Maureen Folan, a plain and lonely woman in her early forties, and Mag, her manipulative aging mother, whose interference in Maureen’s first and possibly final chance of a loving relationship sets in motion a train of events that leads inexorably towards the play’s terrifying dénouement.
