Vivent Health is rooted in its legacy organizations’ commitment to serve people of color and members of the LGBTQ+ community who are most impacted by HIV. Vivent delivers high-quality, integrated HIV healthcare, social services, and prevention. They strive to advance health equity and justice, enabling everyone affected by HIV to live life to the fullest. HIV remains a public health concern because not everyone who could benefit from advances in HIV healthcare and prevention can access them. Providing these services is Vivent’s most important work. They have found that the stigma surrounding HIV, racism, sexism, homophobia, and transphobia contribute to the continuing HIV epidemic and prevent people from living their best and healthiest life. Vivent is committed to challenging these conditions so they don’t negatively impact the health of the people we care for.

On May 31, 2024, Vivent Health held its Make a Promise Gala at Baird Center. The evening was filled with music from local groups, heartfelt stories, and a shared commitment to better the lives of people impacted by HIV/AIDS. Most of Vivent Health’s patients live in poverty, are underinsured, or don’t have insurance. In 2023, the agency absorbed $5.1M in unfunded care and vital social services for those in need. This absorption is an excellent example of Vivent Health's devotion to the community, as they never turn anyone away, regardless of their insurance status or ability to pay. Funds raised at Make a Promise fill this critical gap and are often the difference between health care and disease progression, housing and homelessness, or food and hunger.

Since 1970, Pathfinders Milwaukee has supported vulnerable youth facing homelessness, exploitation, mental health crises, and trauma. They provide immediate necessities like shelter, safety, food, clothing, showers, and laundry, then assist with educational, employment, and mental wellness goals. Serving around 5,000 local youth annually, many from marginalized backgrounds, Pathfinders prioritizes inclusion by involving young people in decision-making. Recognized by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for LGBTQ+ housing initiatives, their CEO, Tim Baack, was honored as a White House Champion of Change, and the organization consistently receives top ratings from United Way for their impactful outcomes.

On April 25th, Pathfinders will host "Streets: An Evening for Youth Empowerment," commemorating the 15-year anniversary of Q-BLOK, an innovative housing program for LGBTQ+ and allied young adults established in 2009, one of the nation's first. The event will also honor Cream City Foundation with the Trailblazer Award and raise crucial funds for Pathfinders' housing and homelessness prevention initiatives.

Pathfinders consistently pioneers groundbreaking ways to support our community's youth, with impact extending nationally. Infinity is honored to count Pathfinders as a valued client, celebrating their remarkable growth and achievements. We extend our heartfelt thanks for all they do, enriching the lives of those they serve.

Located in Milwaukee's Riverwest neighborhood, Woodland Pattern Book Center is a nonprofit book center, gallery, and performance space run by poets and artists. It is dedicated to the discovery, cultivation, and presentation of poetry and the arts. Their goals include promoting lifelong reading and writing, serving as a hub for regional poets and artists, expanding poetry's audience through cross-disciplinary programs, and connecting local and national artistic communities.

On January 28th and 29th, they held their 30th Annual Poetry Marathon and Benefit, one of the 400+ events they organize each year. The event gathered 300+ poets and artists, 32 sponsors, and nearly 400 viewers, raising a record-breaking $41,694. Molly Hassler of Woodland Pattern wrote, “Having our first fully virtual Marathon during the pandemic in 2021, it has grown to be an international event featuring both world-renowned poets, early career poets and of course, Milwaukee youth! A success and surprise of the virtual marathons is how we create an online community in the ongoing chat – it ends up being SO fun. We are looking forward to the next iteration of the poetry Marathon, which take place hybrid-style in the ARC Theater at Saint Kate Arts Hotel. We are so grateful to Infinity Benefits and all of our sponsors that continue to support us!”

𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝟖: 𝐖𝐞 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞!

Why do things alone when you can do SO MUCH MORE together? ❤️

We at Ozaukee Food Alliance constantly look for ways to work with other groups, companies, organizations, and nonprofits to make life a little better in Ozaukee County. Last year, we passed along 8 tons of food to other organizations to pass along to their patrons. We also were delighted to be a part of the Back 2 School Fair, which won Ozaukee Nonprofit Center's Collaboration of the Year award this past June, with the great folks from Family Promise of Ozaukee County, Feith Family Ozaukee YMCA, Kohler Credit Union, and others. Whenever our Direct Connect partners provide us with items that we may not be able to pass along, we find partners who can, sending baby items over to the ONC and socks and hats over to Mr Bob's Under the Bridge as just two examples. We are fortunate to have a large truck, due to several different grants from amazing funders over the years, and use it to help whenever we can, whether it's helping move a displaced family with St Vincent De Paul Society or picking up pies for a fundraiser at Ozaukee Christian School. And we love partnering with our friends at Family Promise of Ozaukee County to stock their beautiful kitchen with food or to work together to plan an amazing golf outing/fundraiser! We welcome a bunch of groups to the pantry (we tagged a bunch in our Community Meal post!), and their volunteerism is essential to our programming. Groups from Ozaukee County Sheriff's Office, Ansay & Associates, LLC, Aurora Advanced Healthcare, Port Washington State Bank, Port Washington High School, Cedarburg High School, Grafton High School (Wisconsin), Infinity Benefit Solutions, and on and on have come and worked at the pantry, helping us help those in need in Ozaukee County. We love to have fun with Mel's Charities whenever we can, and we are grateful to the Ozaukee Aging and Disability Resource Center for helping us identify people in need. We love it when SEEK Grafton Branch comes to talk with patrons, or when Aurora Advanced Healthcare sends over a great healthcare professional to do blood pressure screening or when Oscar Grady Public Library - Saukville comes over with some wonderful books to share.

𝐖𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫.

So, a BIG BIG THANK YOU today to all of the amazing groups, organizations, and businesses who help us do what we do. We couldn't possibly name them all in this post given how intrinsic they are to our mission. Want to partner with us on something that might make life a little better for our neighbors? Hit us up!
