We are hosting a freezer meal workshop on August 21st for the residents! We are seeking food and/or monetary donations.

Our mothers had an incredible experience at church on Sunday! 🙏

Instead of a sermon, their preacher felt God wanted to hear their personal messages directly. They each got prayed over, and were reminded that they were on the right track and to stop putting so much pressure on themselves.

K stated "times may be tough, but I can't give up – big things are coming! I Grateful that two amazing women joined our church today. We're all broken but growing together as women of God. Today was the breath of fresh air I needed!" 💖

Thank you to last week's volunteers! We were fortunate enough to have three lovely ladies from Kohl's, through Benevity, and our new Case Manager, Ruth's sweet daughter Maggie, come in and help us with some much-needed organization in our home!

We’re a Christian non-profit that helps single mothers thrive. You’ll live and work closely with moms and their children. Join our team of women and serve.

Potential candidates include: single female college students looking to fulfill internship hours, a single individual or young couple looking to gain experience and save money, or a retired couple/individual.

Last week, we enjoyed another devotion with Pastor Vanderhoof about Mary and Martha and having a conversation with God. Afterward, we made baby blankets for M and K!

This week has been monumental for WELS Seminary students! Our Resident Supervisor Jake and his wife Lynnea will move to California where Jake will serve for one year as a vicar at Risen Savior Lutheran Church in Chula Vista, CA. Our Case Manager, Emily, will be heading to South Carolina with her husband Nate, who was assigned as the new pastor at Hope Lutheran Church in Irmo, SC.

We will miss them dearly, but we trust that God has even greater plans for these young families. We can't wait to see what the future holds for them.

We are incredibly grateful to Maddie, the President of our board, who has graciously volunteered to step in and help us during the transition. However, we need your help to spread the word and find the right candidate for this crucial role.

We are excited to plan a fun-filled day at the Milwaukee County Zoo for our residents, and we need your help to make it happen! We're looking for sponsorship to cover the costs of this special outing.

A day at the zoo would provide our residents, especially the children, with a much-needed break and an opportunity to learn and explore in a wonderful environment. Your generous sponsorship will help cover transportation, admission, meals, and more.

We are overjoyed to share some wonderful news with you all! Please join us in extending a warm and heartfelt welcome to K & K, who have recently joined our home. Baby K, a bundle of joy born in December, has already brought so much love and happiness into our lives.

On Saturday, 25 members of Lakeside Lutheran High School's National Honor Society participated in their annual car wash. The students washed around 30-35 cars and the ladder truck for the City of Lake Mills Fire Department. They were able to raise over $600 for our mothers! Thank you Lakeside Lutheran High School it is because of organization like yours that New Beginning's exists!
