The Vietnam Moving Wall Es**rt is Tomorrow Morning Thursday May 23rd which will go through the town of Minden & Gardnerville. Please see map below for route. We will leave promptly at 9:00AM lead by our Douglas County Sheriff's Office.

The public is welcome to join on motorcycle or car. We will be meeting at the back parking lot of Carson Valley Inn Casino at 8:30.

If you have a business along the 395 please come out at 9am to welcome The Wall into town.

CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS

The Vietnam Moving Wall will be coming to town Memorial Day Weekend May 23-May 28th. We are looking for volunteers to help with locating loved ones names, escorting and assisting with name rubbings, and security guards as the wall is open to the public to view 24 hours a day.

Eastside Memorial Park and the Vietnam Moving Wall invite you to join us for the THE MOVING WALL MINDEN PROJECT. The Moving Wall, a half-size replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington, D.C., will visit Douglas County for the second time this Memorial Day Weekend (Last time was 2018)

By bringing this monument to Minden, we seek to honor veterans and facilitate a healing experience for the friends and families of those who died or are missing in Vietnam. The Moving Wall's visit will provide a remembrance site for community members who have not been able to visit the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, DC. Its local presence will also create the opportunity to educate younger generations about the war and its impact on our nation.

Wreaths have been delivered! Join us tomorrow December 16th at 9am to honor our veterans during our Wreaths Across America Day event. Volunteers welcome to lay a wreath just come to the cemetery!

Today we observe Veterans Day honoring our Military Veterans for the sacrifices they have made or are still making to keep us safe and free in this beautiful country we live. Come by the cemetery this weekend to see all of the flags flying.

Our very own Crematory Operator, Patrick Stafford planted these beautiful wildflowers in our Natural Green Burial scattering garden. You will see him hand watering these plants on the daily. Thank you for all that you do!
