The key is DAILY CARE & ATTENTION! Fur oil Daily! Spot treat when needed! Exfoliate mechanically 2-3X a week with a scrub formulated right (Fur Silk Scrub is dermatologist & gynecologist tested - perfect for your 🐱) moisturizing the skin after we shower to make sure it gets the drink of water it needs for healthy healing!

We are taught to wash our face everyday & treat our skin on our face with care, waxed areas need the same care! waxing creates trauma to what is resilient skin needing extra attention to heal the way we want!

Remember though; You skin here does NOT have to be perfect just like the skin on our face doesn’t have to be perfect. Texture is normal. Blemishes happen and are very very very normal. It’s all about treating & preventing, trusting the process, & loving your body no matter what as you do.

I do not do waiting lists, and ask that you make changes to your appointment through the system. Being honest; I don’t have the time in my days to manage booked appointments while I’m waxing. With so many appointments (a blessing) it is hard for me to remember when someone in my DM’s needs a wax if a cancellation comes up, and if you move your appointment and ask me to cancel another on the books, I likely will forget to do it & then wonder that day what’s going on 😂 I’m always real and transparent with my guests, and I am ALWAYS here to help you with any questions you have on your appointment, waxing, aftercare, etc. if you need help booking, text me, dm me, I got you. PLEASE Beware of companies & their employees masquerading as skin care providers! MLM’s (brands like Rodan + Fields, Arbonne, Mary Kay, Monat) are multi level marketing (pyramid schemes). In addition to selling you “skin care and face products”, they are also selling you a fake dream and a lifestyle.The aggressive marketing techniques, such as friend-guilt and social media messages starting with “hey girl!” a quick surface level compliment they copy & paste to 16 girls in a row in order to grow their “business” and make money for their boss..... It’s actually a warning against the products that these companies are pushing. Not only are these products expensive (most starter kits will run you close to $200…) but they almost always contain ingredients that I have been warning you against for ages. For example, Rodan + Fields has a warning on its own website cautioning against a top product because an ingredient has been linked to cancer. And a lot of these products are NOT safe to use when you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

When he says “you’ll never find anyone like me” 🙄 boy that’s the point✌🏼 but really queen, your exfoliating & self care routine will never ever disappoint✨

The key to a beautiful wax is a diligent aftercare routine, specially formulated for waxed skin.
When we wax we “traumatize” the area, removing a layer of dead skin, pulling the hair with its root out of the follicle, creating an open, clean pore. When left untreated, these open pores fill with dead skin & bacteria, clogging up, leading to an ingrown hair infection. The hair has no room to healthily grow out of the follicle when it is filled with dead skin, so it has no choice but to grown inward, or under.

The best way to avoid ingrown hairs & to receive the best results, is to exfoliate 24 hours before a wax, and in between waxes - 3X A WEEK, EVERY WEEK!
✨Exfoliating helps skin look healthy, and encourage hair to point up and grown in the correct direction.
✨What is exfoliation? It involves removal of old dead skin cells, either mechanically (best for bodywaxing) or chemically (best for the face)
✨Wait at least 24 hours after your wax to start exfoliating. We want the area to be healed from the sensitivity of waxing before a gentle pre / in shower exfoliation.
✨The best exfoliates are gentle scrubs formulated from micro-exfoliating particles like sugar (such as Scrub Me Luscious, which we retail for $29. It is formulated with top of the line ingredients to help encourage a healthy wax.)
✨ A dry brush used before a shower can help slough away dead skin cells and stimulates cell rejuvenation.
✨replace your dove body wash with something more luxe and organic, for the bikini line I love our “peachy clean” Lactic Acid body wash.
✨Exfoliating & waxing go hand in hand. One without the other just isn’t going to cut it. It’s truly the only ex you need.
