Rev. Dr. DeWayne L. Davis will preach at 9 and 11 am "Pressing On to a High Calling," in person or online at plymouth.org. 9 am features our jazz trio and Chapel Singers and 11 am features Philip Brunelle and our Adult Choir.

At 10, we will be partying in the parking lot, with Chenchos Antojitos and Delicious Pupusas food trucks, bouncy slides, karaoke, face painting, foursquare, a photo booth, opportunities to meet new staff, and more!

One of our most delightful fellowship/spiritual exploration groups is a musical one, "Joyful Noise" led by Plymouthite Jill Lundeen Nelson. This past week, a few of our strummers went on a Uke cruise together! What a delightful way to spend a summer ever. Remember, church can happen in many places, and look many different ways. This morning, our church lay leaders are gathering together to plan for the long-term financials of the church, working to guarantee a future as long as our 167 year old past!

11 of our middle schoolers spent 72 hours in Madison, visiting , , , , , , and generally enjoying one another's company. Middle school can be a time of feeling disconnected, and we work hard to build a community where our youth can come together to feel like part of a valuable community. Big thanks to First Congregational Church in Madison, Wisconsin for being our hosts, and for helping us get there safely and comfortably!

It's always so fun to see kids grow up at Plymouth and grow into role models. These best friends attended their first Peace Camp at 4 years old, and now 9 years later, are counselors themselves! Whenever possible, we give our young people opportunities to be leaders for those younger than them. Both looking up to those older, and creating interage friendships are important cornerstones of Plymouth Church's Children and Youth Programming. To learn more, visit plymouth.org/grow

31 years ago, our own Philip Brunelle filmed a commercial with none other than , for the then exciting and new Air Max shoes. When Barkley brings his...luggage to Minnesota tomorrow, we hope he and Philip (and Barkley's singing voice, our glorious soloist and St. Olaf Associate Provost Dan Dressen) can do another stunning musical collaboration.
