Happy Pride Weekend-eve, Twin Cities!!!!
I am sure many of you are finalizing your plans for the weekend. But, make sure you put two weekends from now on your calendars as well and come support the Morris Park Singers at the Columbia Heights Chipotle. All you have to do is show up between 4pm and 8pm on July 13th and show them this flyer on your phone or simply mention the Morris Park Singers and we get to keep 25% of the sales. You also have the option for ordering a pickup order and using the promo code "QKYRFAY".
Are you not available at all on that day? No problem!! You can simply make a tax-deductible donation by going to morrisparksingers.org/support
While we are preparing for our milestone 5th season starting the fall, we have sheet music to purchase (which gets more expensive as the choir grows), folders to replace, an accompanist to pay, and other fees. As a still small non-profit, any help is greatly appreciated by everyone involved from the singers to the Board of Directors and will absolutely go to good use!!
What's better than a burrito? A burrito that does good! We'll see you Saturday, July 13th at the Columbia Heights Chipotle from 4:00pm to 8:00pm when a mention of the fundraiser while ordering will send 25% of sales to the Morris Park Singers!
Mark your calendars for Saturday, July 13th!!
The Morris Park Singers is partnering with Chipotle to raise additional funds to help purchase actual choir folders for the singers, instead of the flimsier binders were are currently using.
If you come to the Columbia Heights Chipotle between 4:00pm and 8:00pm and mention the Morris Park Singers and/or show them a physical or digital copy of the flyer, the choir gets to keep 25% of the sales!! We also get to keep 25% of any online pickup orders if you use the promo code QKYRFAY!!
If you are unavailable on Saturday, July 13th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, you can always go to morrisparksingers.org/support and make a tax deductible donation to the choir instead.
Thank you in advance for your continued support!!

You’ve met the sections and the committee, now meet the Founder and Artistic Director of the Morris Park Singers, Danny Dahlquist.
Danny first joined the Morris Park community when he was part of the cast for their 2019 production of “The Little Mermaid”. He then went on to be the Music Director for their next show, “Big Fish”. He officially joined Morris Park as the Treasurer of Morris Park Players board in September of 2021 where he was also tasked with restarting the Morris Park Singers. He has his Bachelors of Music in Vocal Music Education from St. Olaf College and his Masters of Music in Music Education from Boston University. He spent four years teaching music in the classroom and almost a decade teaching private voice lessons before moving into his current career. Currently, during the day, he works in accounting and payroll for a children’s book publishing company. He is extremely proud of the work this choir has done so far and is truly blessed to have the opportunity to make amazing choral music with the Morris Park Singers!
The choir concerts are just over a week away!
