Here's another look at the District Kickoff event! Do you recognize any Hopkins High School Royals?
Thanks to all the students who helped make the District Kickoff such a great event! Many students woke up early on one of their last days of summer to greet our staff with cheers and high fives.
Due to dangerously cold wind chills in the forecast, Hopkins Public Schools is closing school for Tuesday, January 29 and Wednesday, January 30. All buildings will be closed and staff are not to report.
There will be no after-school activities for Tuesday and Wednesday, no community education classes, no activities or athletics events, no Kids & Company, no preschool, ECFE or early childhood special education. We will assess the weather conditions for January 31 on Wednesday.
With the projected forecast, frostbite can occur to exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes. These conditions are very dangerous, and we encourage you to use extreme caution if going outside.
Thank you and be safe!

According to The Washington Post, Hopkins High School is among America's Most Challenging High Schools. The ranking was based on the number of Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate and Advanced International Certificate of Education tests given at a school each year, divided by the number of seniors who graduated that year.
