Happy Thursday! Dr. Cole here with a quick post on laser therapy. It’s primarily used to treat acute injuries such as sprains, tears, and large cuts. It’s Dr Melanie here and I wanted to share a little story. This past Friday afternoon, I was interviewed by a senior who’s considering going to chiropractic school someday. After a few questions about what all he would need to do to make this happen, he asked me something that caused me to pause.

“What’s your favorite part of being a chiropractor Dr Melanie?”

I could have given him the generic answer that I get to help people every day. Which is certainly true and something I’m very grateful for.
But I realized that my favorite part of being a chiropractor is about so much more. It’s about the connections that everyone at our clinic develops with the patients. It’s about knowing that when I walk in the door each morning, I’m going to receive the same cheerful greeting from my staff that you will get later that day. It’s about getting to know each of you on an individual basis, listening to your story and thinking creatively about what YOU need to feel better. It’s about seeing you as a unique human being and not just a number on our schedule. It’s about the trust you place in our clinic that we are going to do the best we can to make your day better- thru chiropractic care, nutritional advice, thoughtful movement, and good conversations.

THOSE are all my favorite parts of being a chiropractor and you are all some of my favorite people.
