Plus, team members from the Community Affairs department will be in attendance to document any 311 issues that need to be reported. Submit your 311s in person!

We love seeing the student artists of Barton Academy for Advanced World Studies use their talents to make a difference in downtown's public art scene!

The Mobile Arts Council, City of Mobile - Government and the Barton Academy Foundation helped facilitate this initiative after our placemaking grant, the MOBilize Fund, catalyzed the painting of the first round of utility boxes downtown. Teamwork makes the dream work!

Pack your walking shoes and plan to walk at lunch tomorrow! The Mobile County Commission is inviting everyone to meet at Government Plaza at 11:00 a.m. on April 24 and spend the next hour or so on the Downtown Walking Trail. Live music, giveaways, and medals for finishers!

We lost a member of our team this week, Lethel Brown, who passed away after a brief illness. Many of you knew Lethel as a gentle, soft-spoken, and dedicated Steward of the Business Improvement District. He helped make downtown a clean and beautiful place for several years, and we will certainly miss his steady presence.
