β¨ Introducing 2024 Leading Lady nominee Allison Ingram β¨
Allison Ingram has been an attorney with Ball, Ball, Matthews and Novak for the last 31 years. She has taught continuing legal education classes and also served as an adjunct law professor at the University of Alabama School of Law. She has litigated cases in both state and federal courts in Alabama. She is admitted to practice law in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the U.S. District Courts for the Middle, Northern and Southern Districts of Alabama. She has even orally argued cases in front of the Eleventh U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals and the Alabama Supreme Court.
Allison is a member of the Alabama State Bar Association, Montgomery County Bar Association, and Alabama Defense Lawyers Association. She currently serves as member of the Montgomery County Bar Association Grievance Committee. She has accepted numerous pro bono cases over her legal career and served as Volunteer Chair of the Alabama State Bar Volunteer Lawyers Program Committee, where she oversaw the implementation of the Wills for Heroes program which offers first responders free basic estate planning services.
She is active in the community, having served as a member of the Junior League of Montgomery for ten years where her favorite placement was her work as an advisor on the Montgomery County Teen Court program, a diversion program offered to first time juvenile offenders who agree to have their case heard before a peer jury of Teen Court student volunteers in a court setting. She also served on the Board of Directors for the Britton YMCA where she coached Mock Trial Teams and accompanied them to National Competitions. She has served on the Brantwood Childrenβs Home Board of Directors, as Chair for the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts Art Auction 2018 and President of the Montgomery Autauga Elmore Medical Alliance. She is also completing her twelfth year as a Girl Scout Troop Leader, her eleventh year as Cookie Chair for her troop, and served for several years as the Montgomery Area Service Unit Leader for the Girl Scouts of Southern Alabama. She led her troop to several top ten finishes and ultimately won the Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia QuestFest national event. She has mentored several girls to their Bronze and Silver Awards and is working with her daughters on their Gold Award. She was awarded the Volunteer Service pin by GSSA.
She and her husband Michael are the parents of three daughters, Sarah Kate, Emily and Elle, who are all Girl Scouts. In her spare time, Allison and her family are avid travelers. She loves to cook and sew. She and her husband have been in several cooking clubs, and they love to entertain. Allison also loves to do French hand sewing. She made numerous dresses for her girls when they were younger and just completed a graduation dress for her oldest daughter Sarah Kate. She hopes one day to spend more time in the creative arts.

Our Story
We're more than 5,500 girls and 2,000 adults strong, who believe in the power of every G.I.R.L. (Go-getter, Innovator, Risk-taker, Leader)β’ to change the world. Our extraordinary journey began more than 100 years ago with the original G.I.R.L., Juliette Gordon βDaisyβ Low. On March 12, 1912, in Savannah, Georgia, she organized the very first Girl Scout troop, and every year since, weβve honored her vision and legacy, building girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place. Weβre the preeminent leadership development organization for girls. And with programs from coast to coast and across the globe, Girl Scouts offers every girl a chance to practice a lifetime of leadership, adventure, and success.
