What an inspiring story.
The Senior Kit Drives were a HUGE success!
80 senior volunteers.
23 community volunteers.
4 locations.
13 items in each kit.
320 total kits assembled!
Each kit includes the following: blanket, toothbrush, magnifying glass, bandaids, deodorant, dry shampoo, crossword puzzle book, socks, chapstick, medication box, wipes, stress ball, and a kind note from a community member.
These kits are given to isolated and vulnerable seniors all throughout Stanislaus County. Often seniors are the population that doesn't get the focus, resources, or care as they deserve and need. They are often overlooked.
Our Seniors Program is committed to changing this.
Go to LoveStanislausCounty.org to find your place to volunteer.
We are partnering with CORE Fitness Modesto! They are generously donating some of the proceeds of their ticket sales to Love Modesto.

Love Empire, thank you for coming together to love your community. This year, one of your projects was to clean up an underused area of the school to create a quiet place and sensory garden for children to spend time in. What a thoughtful way to show the kids in your community that you care. Beautiful job!
