Delilah has started out her first couple of days of school with AJ Perry very well, today she wore her first western saddle with a breast collar and back cinch! She will get 30 days of school and then a break to think about everything for a month or two and then come back to school. We believe this gives them time to think about everything and they typically come back ready to go and looking forward to learning.

It is with great sadness that we are posting that Cisco didn’t make it, unfortunately his small intestine ruptured. We just got all of the test results back and everything we tested for that could have caused this came back negative, which gave us some relief as we were worried about the rest of the herd if it was contagious. We believe something foreign caused his small intestines to become inflamed which started a small infection according to blood work.
This little guy was a fun loving baby and so smart and took to learning things very well, he is going to be missed so much! 😢
Happy Thanksgiving!
We are so thankful for the continued support in our efforts to give these horses and ponies the best lives possible!

Cisco is not doing well today, this morning he didn’t eat and was down rolling and not feeling good. We immediately took him to Sweet River Equine Clinic Inc where he presented with some neurological issues, irregular heart beat, high respiratory, no temperature, and no gut sounds. After getting him more comfortable a tube was placed and he refluxed his dinner from last night. Ultra sound showed his small intestines, colon, and stomach were inflamed and had fluid around his stomach and belly. He is currently on fluids, pain management, and being monitored closely for any improvement or discomfort. Please keep him in your prayers as he needs all the help he can get to make it through this.
If you would like to donate towards his vet bill at Sweet River Equine Clinic you can call them Monday at 209-524-9191

Fred decided he would like to see our vets at Sweet River Equine Clinic, Inc. today, he looks to have punctured and torn a good flap off of his face. He is in good hands with them while they determine what would be best for this wound on his face.
