The Buddy Pelletier Surfing Foundation
We are a 501(c)3 non-profit founded by E. C. Surfing Hall of Fame member Buddy Pelletier.
Sub Tropics and Charles Kemp have donated to and supported so many Organizations in our surfing community. If able to help pay it forward please make a donation of any size. If you can't donate, please share.
I think it's important that people know he is part of the backbone of our community. Because of his donations to the Buddy Pelletier Surfing Foundation over the years I estimate at least 10 kids were able to get Scholarships and have gone on to have productive lives and have enriched our community.
And that's just 1 non-profit. He did things like this on the regular for anyone in need.
It's time to pay it forward.

Ricky Carroll – Florida - Legends
Ricky Carroll started surfing in the early 1970s in Satellite Beach, Florida and shaped his first surfboard at the age of 13. Soon after he was a creative standout at Natural Art Surfboards at the Merritt Island factory.
A competitive juggernaut, Carroll won multiple titles in the ESA and even nabbed a windsurfing title during the height of that sport. He was a member of USA National Team that competed at the ISF (now ISA) World Surfing Championship in Australia and turned pro in 1983.
After years as a production shaper at Natural Art, Carroll eventually launched his own brand, Ricky Carroll Surfboards in Rockledge, Florida, where he shaped boards for many of the top competitive surfers in Central Florida including the Hobgood Brothers among others.
For over three decades his boards have been sought after up and down the East Coast. He is also a multiple winner of industry shape offs, specifically, the top industry gathering, “The Boardroom Show,” held in Del Mar, California every year.

Paddle out honoring/celebrating the life of Richard Byrd scheduled for Sunday September 24th @ 1pm. We’ll meet at the Rodanthe public beach access. Bring your photos, stories & anything else you’d like to contribute to honor our Prince. It is with the heaviest of hearts we share the news of the passing of our brother Richard Byrd. Richard kept his soul surfer stoke his entire life and an open heart that we would do well to emulate.
