✨ Hey everyone! 👋 We’ve collected 23 pool noodles so far, and we need your help to gather more! We don’t have a specific goal for how many we want to collect, but we want to ensure that any pool noodles that are planning to be tossed can be reused, especially since pool noodles are not easily recyclable. If you’re planning to get rid of any pool noodles, please consider donating them to MAEVE.

We will be collecting until the end of September. The project will be displayed at the library, and our drop-off box is located there as well. Your contributions will be showcased for everyone to enjoy!

Our group made some amazing Easter cards for the seniors at Bella Sera. Thank you so much!
We ended up delivering them in person, some to the seniors playing Bingo and the rest at their own room. The kids helped deliver them, and we had such a special time interacting with them one-on-one.

Last Friday, we held our fall service project and we thought we’d try something a little different. We hosted a Bunco Game Night evening where 100% of the ticket prices are going to CAPK. (𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝑑𝑜𝑛𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑤𝑖𝑙𝑙 ℎ𝑎𝑝𝑝𝑒𝑛 𝑜𝑛𝑐𝑒 𝑤𝑒 𝑙𝑒𝑎𝑟𝑛 ℎ𝑜𝑤 𝑡𝑜 𝑑𝑖𝑟𝑒𝑐𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑓𝑢𝑛𝑑𝑠.)
The purpose of this post is for information and to give special shoutouts.
First, we’d like to thank Casey’s for their use of the banquet space and the taco/salad bar – it was a great idea and worked out well for everyone.

🍃 🌎 April’s Earth Month challenge is completed!

We had a great Earth Day cleanup at Upjohn Park on April 22 ♻️ Thanks to everyone who came out and helped us make our community a cleaner, happier place 🚮 The kids got to pick out a cool bookmark 🔖 and a yummy popsicle 🍦

If your kids completed the Earth Day bingo, please contact us for a free bookmark reward. 💚

🍃🌷 We had a blast at our Spring Family Potluck! We couldn't have asked for a better day. It was great to see everyone's favorite dishes and to get to know some of our friends a little bit better. 🍕🧆🍗🥟🍪

🌍 🌱 In celebration of Earth day on 4/22, let's celebrate by completing an Earth Day Bingo game to keep Ridgecrest beautiful! 💚 Each square has an activity to promote awareness of how you can protect Earth's natural resources for future generations. ♻️ Bring the kids out or go solo and complete each task throughout the month! Then on 4/22, join us at Upjohn Park to pick up litter 🚮 & a park playdate with the kids. Adult S/M gloves & trash bags will be provided. 🧤 🗑️ If there is another park you want to go to, feel free to clean up there to complete the square as well. 🛝

♻️If you wish to collect cans/bottles and donate them to MAEVE RC, please dm us for info to pickup/drop off recylables. Profits will go to MAEVE RC to support the organization's functions and activities. 🌳

Kids craft with MAEVE are every first Wednesday of each month at the Ridgecrest Branch Library from 11 am - 12 pm. You don't have to be a member to attend. It's open to the public. We hope to see you next month! 💕

✨ 🍕 Join us for MAEVE - Ridgecrest Meeting & Pizza Fundraiser on Saturday, 25th Feb. at 11 am. Bring the family out for some delicious pizza at the Pizza Factory, mention “MAEVE,” and 20% of the sales will go to our group.

This will be our first Saturday meeting. This is a great way to meet new/current members, learn about upcoming activities, and discuss chapter business.

Prospective members welcome! Is there anyone you know who might be interested in joining MAEVE? Bring them along to meet us at the meeting! Children are welcome! Activities for kids will be provided.
