After 28 years in business, Elizabeth has decided to step aside and hand over her oven mitts to the very capable and talented Nicole Simonian. Nicole worked at Uptown, both as a barista and as a baker from 2007-2015, and fell in love with the business.
Nicole is committed and excited to provide the same delicious, made-from-scratch baked goods that people already love, and to bring in fresh, new ideas. Elizabeth will still be in the store baking and helping to make a smooth transition. They have both been working hard to prepare for the new ownership. Nicole enjoys working with customers and is very dedicated to providing not only great coffee, but great customer service. Please stop in to meet Nicole and get to know her friendly face. She is looking forward to reconnecting with past customers and meeting new ones!

We’re saying adiós to Joel! 🥲 Joel has been with us for the past year, but is soon moving to Spain to teach English! We wish him the very best and are grateful to have had him as part of our crew 💜
