Who want to ride bikes with Dormont Councilwoman Jennifer Mazzocco in Dormont?
🚲 Pace will be slow & easy (hills 🙄). You’ll travel on bike friendly streets, but there will still be car traffic.
🚲 E-bikes are welcome & encouraged! Bring the bike you’re comfortable with!
🚲 Kids are welcome if they are confident cyclists - keep in mind you’ll be riding on streets that are not closed to traffic.
🚲 Bring your swimsuit & appetite - you’ll end at the Dormont Pool and have some treats at Poco Loco Taco Co.!

Due to the cooler temperature, the Dormont Pool will not open Thursday, 6/8. We will be open on Friday, June 9 from 4:30pm-7:30pm. We will start full daily operational hours from 12pm-8pm on Saturday, June 10.

The Borough of Dormont is excited to announce that Poco Loco Taco Co. will be running the concession stand at the iconic and historic Dormont Pool for the 2023 season. Poco Loco Taco Co. is known for providing some of the best Mexican food in the area. Bethany Bachman, Community Manager, noted that “Poco Loco Taco Co. put together an exciting and thorough proposal for the concession stand. It is
clear that they are excited to be here and we are excited to have them.”

Their menu at the Dormont Pool will feature traditional concession stand items like chips, pop, hot dogs, pretzels and ice cream. The diverse menu will also include favorites such as french fries, walking tacos, chips with queso, salsa, guacamole and more. Pool patrons are able to try them out this summer when visiting the Dormont Pool. Anyone can visit their takeout window for lunch, dinner or a tasty snack even when not visiting the Dormont Pool.

The team at Poco Loco Taco Co. were excited when they received the news. "Since we found out we were chosen to be the operators of the Dormont Pool Concession Stand, we have been very excited for everyone to try our food,” exclaimed Juan Grimaldo. Diana Suarez added, "Is going to be a lot of fun to have the opportunity to serve our food to the whole community at the pool"

Mexican tortas resembles a sandwich in almost every way: a crusty roll is sliced in half and filled with a variety of meats and other ingredients.
