-To provide a place for mutual encouragement and prayer for each other.

We meet on the 1st Thursday of each month, Sept 2024-Apr 2025 from 6:30-8:00pm. We will meet in the Ministry House at Christian Life in Murfreesboro, TN. This is an open group available to the community. So, please feel free to share with others you feel will benefit.

Eagles Rest Counseling Training Center will train and teach students that are passionate about counseling and ministering to others by utilizing a national and internationally known certification program through National Christian Counselors Association. Eagles Rest Counseling Training Center is solution oriented providing a safe nonjudgmental space where students are validated, accepted, and empowered.
Eagles Rest Counseling Training Center offers distance education, online training, and classroom study. Our academic year consists of two semesters. Fall semester is September through December. Spring semester is January through April. Students may enroll in the middle of an academic year.

I hope you are feeling as excited for the future as I am. Overall, 2023 has been a good year. A year of learning and transition. I am excited about 2024. As a business owner, it is important to look ahead and plan for what is to come. That is why I’m thrilled to share with you the first of two announcements that are coming your way.

To those in the Murfreesboro, TN area - If you are a parent or if you know parents that are hurting and dealing with a prodigal son or daughter , please share about this new support group. I will be co-facilitating with Heather Dean. I met Heather last year and we both agreed it would be beneficial to have a local group here in Murfreesboro. Heather is the wife of Pastor David Dean, Lead Pastor at Lighthouse Baptist Church and she is also a Professor at California State University, Stanislaus.
We are looking forward to supporting and encouraging parents in their journey from surviving to thriving. We will be covering topics such as Grief and Loss, Enabling, Guilt, Coping with Fear, Surviving the Holidays, Detachment, etc. Our goal is for parents to realize they are not alone and to walk away with tools to gain strength, hope, encouragement and new perspectives.

The act of loving others as we love ourselves is the ultimate act of care. When we set up sacred boundaries for ourselves and our well-being, we create conditions that support our long-term engagement with those we love and hold space for. How have you established continued care practice through boundaries? What boundaries allow you to love yourself as well as others? 🌞

About Deanna Fullerton, Owner and Founder of Eagles Rest Counseling
Deanna Fullerton is the owner and founder of Eagles Rest Counseling conveniently located near downtown Murfreesboro, Tennessee since 2015. Deanna has a Master of Arts in Clinical Christian Counseling from Cornerstone University. In addition, she has an Advanced Certification in Crisis and Abuse Therapy and a Certification in Temperament Counseling through National Christian Counselors Association. She is an Ordained Minister for Pastoral Care through Experience Ministries. She is also a trained facilitator for Faith Based Equine Assisted Philosophy Foundation through Unbridled, LLC. Deanna is now a trained EMDR therapist.
Deanna is a Presidential Member of American Association of Christian Counselors and a member of Christian Women in Media Association. She is currently serving as a Board Member for Liberty in Christ Ministries.
Deanna has served in leadership positions, married to a leader in the military and has overcome anxiety, depression, imposter syndrome and life transitions. She is equipped with the skills and knowledge to counsel leaders in business and government and entrepreneurs. She operates with integrity and trustworthiness and provides a safe, nonjudgmental place where leaders can be vulnerable and honest about the issues they are facing.
Deanna and her husband David, for over 30 years, live in Murfreesboro, TN. They have an adult son. Deanna and David are very active at Christian Life Church in Murfreesboro.
