We have officially rescheduled the movie and picnic night for May 3rd. Make sure to get to the school at 4:30 so you can secure a good spot to watch Super Mario Bros on the outdoor screen. We encourage you to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and a picnic dinner to enjoy during the movie. Movie starts at 5pm!

It's that time of year again for the Buchanan Elementary Blazer fair! This year will be filled with tons of games, inflatables, a pie eating contest, and so much more. Mark your calendars and bring the whole family on April 26th from 5pm-7pm. We hope to see you all there!

Join the PTA for a night of free fun! This Friday March 15th we are hosting a movie night featuring Super Mario Bros. Gates open at 4:30. Bring your chairs, blankets, and a picnic dinner and enjoy the show!

Get your candy grams filled out and turned in this week! All are due no later than this Friday, February 2nd!! Here is a sneak peak of what the grams will look like upon delivery on February 14th. This is a chance for your kids to show their friends and teachers that they are thinking about them. Your child should have been sent home a flyer with 6 pink grams and an envelope attached. Happy Valentine's Day!

Mark your calendars! The week of the February 12th there will be themed dress up days. Refer to the flyer to see what the theme is for each day. Reminder that Friday, February 16th there is no school.

Be on the lookout for an envelope in your child's backpack. It will have this flyer stapled to it. Let's continue to spread kindness and positivity in February!

Get ready for the next event hosted by the PTA! We are holding a Valentine's bingo night and all family members are welcome. Please note that there are 2 time slots to choose from and you must reserve your spot using the QR code. There is limited space so make sure to sign up before it is too late. We hope to see you there!

Here is a sneak peak into PTA's Snow Shop! We are officially open for business starting Monday December 4th! Please note this is a cash only shopping experience and everything is $5 and below. We look forward to having the kids shop for gifts for their family.

Come join us on Friday, December 8th for Cookies and Cocoa with Santa. This is a free event and all are welcome. We will have letters for the kids to write to Santa, as well as Santa himself! We will provide cookies and hot cocoa for all kids and adults to enjoy. You do not want to miss this event, so mark it on your calendar. We hope to see you all there!

It's official! The PTA is bringing back Snow Shop this year! This is a great opportunity for your kids to shop for you, as well as siblings, grandparents, friends, etc. This is a cash only store, so if your child would like to participate, make sure to send them to school with money on the day their class is shopping. We will be wrapping the gifts but need as many parent volunteers as possible to help create a magical experience for our children. A big thank you to all the parents that participated in the book fair last week! It was a huge success as we far exceeded our goal. The funds raised go directly to purchasing new books for the library that students then can check out.

November 6th through the 9th Buchanan is hosting a book fair! This will be taking place at the school library during school hours. You can also join your child after school from 2:50-4:00pm and check it out!

We have Red Ribbon Week coming up at the end of October. The PTA has put together a week of dress up days! Attached is a flyer with each day's themes.

📣 Announcement 📣 PTA will be sending out information about the upcoming Fun Run on October 10th. Be on the lookout, Monday 9/25, for a packet in your child's backpack. We look forward to seeing you all at the Fun Run.

Next week mark your calendars because we have a different dress up theme each day for spirit week!

Join us next Friday on September 15th for dinner, dancing and entertainment at Buchanan elementary! Entry is free. Bring cash and/or card to purchase wood fired pizza and Kona ice. This is a family event so parents must stay with your children. We hope to see you there!
