As the 436th Civil Affairs Battalion, we stand with immense pride and gratitude today as we honor all those who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces. Each veteran, past and present, has played a pivotal role in safeguarding our nation's freedom and democracy.

🌟 A Tribute to Our Veterans
Your sacrifices, courage, and commitment have shaped the fabric of our great nation. From the deserts to the seas, your bravery has echoed through time, ensuring liberty and justice for all. Today, we remember and thank you for your unwavering service.

πŸ“œ The Origin of Veterans Day
Veterans Day, originally known as Armistice Day, was first commemorated on November 11, 1919, marking the first anniversary of the end of World War I. In 1954, the U.S. Congress changed the name to Veterans Day to honor all veterans, not just those who served in World War I. This day serves as a reminder of the peace and freedom won and maintained by the brave men and women of our armed forces.

πŸ™ Our Commitment
As members of the 436th Civil Affairs Battalion, we pledge to uphold the legacy of our veterans and continue serving our nation with honor and integrity.

To all our veterans, we extend our deepest gratitude. Your service and sacrifice will forever be remembered and revered.
