Call to Artists!
I couldn't be more excited to be bringing back Art Around Napa! Our inaugural launch was a wonderful success with 34 merchants and 45 artists. Retailers, hotels, tasting rooms, galleries, bookstores & restaurants - all signing up to support the arts in our community. I am happy to share that several artists got permanent placement in their host location!
We have taken in the suggestions and feedback - and after careful coordination with Downtown Napa Association and the TID, we will be presenting this program three times a year - October / February / July annually.
Art Around Napa will now be Friday night (3 - 8 pm) & Saturday (11 am - 6 pm) - working towards our own unique version of a 'Friday Night Art Walk' in Downtown Napa! Stay tuned as this program evolves - we will be highlighting our unique downtown neighborhoods as well as the expansive downtown Napa area during the Art Around Napa weekends. Downtown neighborhoods - get together and let us know if you decide to do something special for Friday or Saturday night - I can highlight your neighborhood in the marketing - (i.e. sofi, oxbow, north of main). We encourage businesses and artists to collaborate in creating events - i.e. special offers, club pickups, music, gatherings - bringing the best of what we offer to Northern California - Napa Life! As we move forward, I will be creating an Art Around Napa webpage for those event listings as well as artist/merchant promotions and neighborhood events as we evolve.
I'm honored at the opportunity to collaborate and support each of you. There has never been a more exciting and important time to come together to support arts and commerce in our community. Thank you to the Downtown Napa Association, Napa Hotels and Inns, Napa Makes and the Tourism Improvement District for giving Art Around Napa the support to continue, evolve, and grow!
Looking forward!
Get on the map!
Cheers,
Julie
