We had a very special visitor yesterday! Thank you, Henk-Jan from BlinkLab, for traveling all the way from the Netherlands to visit us at Turning Pointe Autism Foundation!

We have been collaborating over the last few months on an exciting research project that has the potential to significantly enhance ASD diagnostics and care.

Read what Jackson has to say about his experience with Turning Pointe’s Employment Training Program!

“My name is Jackson, and I am a graduate of Turning Pointe’s ETP spring 2023 cohort. I was in a very fragile position a year prior, and I felt like I needed something to do to help with my mental health and my confidence. I joined the program not knowing what to expect, I thought I was going to learn useful job skills for the future. I really enjoyed the internship opportunities at Walgreens, everyone was very kind and supportive. On our last day we got to fill out an application for multiple stores in our area, and within two and a half weeks, I was hired by the company. I’m very proud to say that I’ve learned so much from the program, and I’ve already been working for Walgreens for over a year. It really has been the greatest experience, and I love the people I work with. My boss just recently asked me to complete the training to become a pharmacy tech. I really can’t thank Turning Pointe enough for this experience, it has led me to make amazing connections with customers as well as my coworkers. I really look forward to everything that lies ahead, and I certainly look forward to any opportunities that Turning Pointe will do with me.”
