Thoughts on the clustering of these books in my therapeutic space?

It’s all coming together. Not quite there yet but it feels real now. The office 53 years in the making. I am thankful for finding the two lamps today that transformed this space. It is so different from what I had originally envisioned. The space came together from special pieces given to me, finding treasures in other people’s junk, and new things I never thought I would buy years ago. This is what is. Happy, unexpected results from just doing one little thing outside your usual pattern. Now if only that shelf would arrive on time. 🙄

This morning I watched the sunrise and the tide to come in. What a privilege to watch night turn into day. It makes me realize how we miss that transition and the practice of patience. When it is night, the darkness feels endless until the silhouette of the trees begin to appear before the sun unstoppable emerges fiercely and at full speed. I think of life, how the world turns, and at the end of the day we all share the same sun only at different times and from different directions.

Sometimes you just gotta hammock.

They said 10 fruits but I think I may have overshot the requirement. So it shall be this year. Go over and above the comfort zone. Try something different. It’s amazing how much is out there waiting to be discovered. If something didn’t work last year, maybe it’s time to break patterns. I am grateful for connections made in the past but we do outgrow them. We need to kick off our little kid shoes and hit the ground running even with bare feet. There’s always hope. There’s always a solution. Embrace change and befriend uncertainty. Reconcile with your authentic self. Happy New Year world!
