In keeping with a weekend theme, I finally visited the Alexander McQueen exhibit at … and was once again not disappointed. At the end, I found myself feeling rather melancholy, knowing that we have lost such a talent, but also grateful that he created such beautiful works of art… and his design house lives on

Such an amazing experience! I drove down to in Atlanta today on the invite from Chapter, for the exhibit. It did NOT disappoint and I have so much video and pictures it’s going to take me a few days to go through them.

The grow-out….that dreaded period between short and long hair. I know you’ve been there. I’ve been here many times, too. I swore I wouldn’t have to go through this again, but after I decided to let my natural color takeover, which I do not regret one iota, I couldn’t stand the two-tone and chopped it. I am, however, grateful that my hair grows quickly. But I’m not gonna lie, this period is the worst.

For some, this is a sweet day. For others, it’s not. I would like to send all the love and energy to every woman in any manner in which they need it. Personally, being a mother has been the most rewarding experience of my life. But I understand and appreciate everyone has different life experiences that can make this day challenging. So with the best of intentions and a heart full of love, I wish you a wonderful Sunday.

Attended the Year 103 Leadership Retreat for Junior League of Nashville today (excited to be starting my 2nd year as Publications Chair on the MARCOM Committee) - and didn't take any pictures. What??

I know, right? But I have a feeling this is going to be another amazing year. Thank you to everyone to put on a great meeting today!
