Over the past 10 years I have been blessed to be an admin of the group helping bring our community together and employers and job seekers together here at Henry County Jobs. I have always been about our community and all about commitment, transparency and being real. Serving is in blood.

I run Henry County Jobs, Henry County Community News and many other pages. I coach both New Castle High School bowling and middle school bowling. State Board Member of Indiana Filmmakers Network, working to build independent films and Hollywood films in Indiana to be filmed and much more.

I have run many pages including Henry County Jobs. Informative job posts were getting buried in bigger groups. It's why I started Henry County Jobs to put job seekers and hiring employers together. For the past 6 months I have been running for City Council. Today is the day where we have the right to vote. I hope to see you at the polls I'll be out and about. I grew up here and I graduated from New Castle. After the Navy, I came home and got married and we are raising my kids in New Castle.

I have always had a love for New Castle and I fully believe we can move New Castle forward to a better place. There is a lot of stuff to fix but with hard work, commitment, and smart spending, we can fix it.

I spent 4 years running the New Castle Community in Action and Rock the Arts Park Music Festival to fund it. It was here to help people and organizations in need. Within my company 5 After 5 Studios I have used film to promote New Castle and to showcase New Castle.

I hope everyone gets out and votes. Your vote matters and your voice matters. I am ready to get to work and work hard for the people of New Castle. Its time to do better for the people here because the people here deserve more and deserve better.

I'm proud of the team of candidates we have. I'm proud to be a part of it. The conversations we have had about the future I love how we're on the same page. A love of community, a passion to move New Castle in a more positive direction, to care about the people you want to serve. A desire to grow our city the right way for the right reasons.

I am committed to doing all I possibly can for New Castle. I have been dedicated to our community for over a decade. I grew up here, I graduated here, after the Navy I came back and started my family and I'm raising them here.

I have spent 4 years founding New Castle Community in Action, founding the Rock the Arts Park Music Festival for our non profit, with my company 5 after 5 Studios I have created the Henry County tourism commercials, recorded the pitch videos for the food and beverage grants, created the promo video for miracle League, created videos for first year of Henry county business builders (2 time participant of business builders), and created multiple films here.

I went to Harrison College for Business, I graduated from Full Sail University in Digital Cinematography while being inducted into the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and I am in multiple veteran organizations for business and entertainment.

I run multiple pages and groups like Henry County Events, Henry County Jobs, Henry County Homes Advertise Henry County, Henry County News, Henry County Local and admin Out and About Henry County.

We all need to be aware that a reconstruction of State Road 3 is coming in 2025 from the state. We need to start having discussions and plans to help as much as we can when this happens. This will be here before we know it. I know Clay Morgan for Mayor and myself are willing to have the conversations needed when this happens. I will also say I'm excited about the team of candidates that will be a team to move New Castle forward.

The Mayor should be talking about this. This is no small event. Is the city of New Castle preparing for the busiest road in our community to be shut down? Many residents have experienced major inconvenience over the past few years with the 16th Street project and the Storm Water Separation project. The State Road 38 bridge project will seem like a speed bump compared to what is coming.

The Indiana Department of Transportation has scheduled to reconstruct State Road 3 through New Castle, in 2025.

Are our city streets ready for the extra traffic? What can we be doing to get prepared on Indiana Avenue, Main Street, Riley Road, 300 South, Trojan Lane, Bundy Avenue, Broad Street, etc.? Are we communicating with residents about what is coming? Are we working with Emergency Services on quick and effective alternative routes?

Are our restaurants, stores, and other businesses prepared for the impact? Have they been communicated with about this major project? For many of them, this will have a severe economic impact. It will become even more difficult to get in and out of Culver’s, Clancy’s Car Wash, Café Royale, the BMV…just to name a few.

The good news is…I am aware of this project. I have already begun to have conversations with applicable professionals to discuss what this will bring to our city and how to best prepare. In that preparation I have also discovered that there may be opportunities available to take care of some of our infrastructure responsibilities. For example, inadequate drainage at State Road 3 and Indiana Avenue. I have learned that there is outside funding available to help us, IF we adequately prepare.

If you elect me as your Mayor, I will be available and undistracted by personal business endeavors. I live right here with you, only a few blocks from City Hall. I will be committed and work within the authority of the office to give us the best chance possible to take advantage of opportunity. John Wooden once said, “When opportunity comes it’s too late to prepare.”

Henry County Homes, I saw a need to showcase homes for sale to potential buyers looking for their forever home.

Henry County Events was to expand the reach to bring people together for events. So many people would say they didn't know about an event. We created the page to help get the word out.

Henry County Local, was created to focus on all things local.

Advertise Henry County was to help local businesses reach more people locally. A way to help local businesses and small businesses alike. As a small business owner 5 After 5 Studios I understand sometimes how hard it is to reach people.

Henry County Community News was to get important information out.

I have always believed in our country and worked hard in different ways to help. This is something I will continue to do if elected to our city council. I believe in always being there for our city and its people. I will always look for ways to make things better. I am running because I care and love New Castle.
