The Holiday Season Officially Begins!!!

Our businesses and organizations are already cooking up some great stuff, and it all kicks off this weekend with The Good Co. 's Holiday Open House, Saturday November 2 from 11-6! They've been closed this week in preparation, so we can't wait to see what they have in store!

Congratulations to our newest downtown retailer! Maxwell’s Mercantile is a wonderful addition to our downtown tapestry, and it was great to see the support for them at this morning’s ribbon cutting! Thank you, Cindy Li Gibson, for bringing your beautiful business downtown!

NEW CASTLE WINS! Our community won the $2 million PreservINg Main Street grant. Thank you to our local leaders, community, and the building owners of downtown New Castle. Together we can do so much!

A fresh coat of paint is only the tip of the iceberg of what is happening to this building at the corner of 15th and Broad!

The roof, the floors, the exterior walls, the windows, the plumbing, and more have all been revamped in this space, thanks to BRAP and the private investment of the Henry County Art Association.

We hear something "sweet" will be filling the new retail space in this building soon...

We are beside ourselves with excitement today as we welcome Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs Indiana Landmarks and Indiana Humanities to New Castle today for our PreservINg Main Street Grant Site Visit!

Thank you for selecting New Castle as a finalist for this year's grant. We hope you love what our team has to show you today!

From boarded up windows and empty storefronts...to a beautifully restored façade and 2 booming businesses, this building has seen incredible changes as a result of its restoration.

Our BRAP program allowed these building owners to re-locate and expand their own business F.C. Tucker/Crossroads-New Castle as well as create "white-box" space for a new business, which ultimately became Blue River Taphouse. On top of all that, work is also beginning on the upper floors, with the potential for residential living!
